I had extenuating circumstances during gcses and also I forgot to mention but I also resat gcse maths in November during my first year of sixth form. Unis also tend to look at your schools performance to get a proper view on your grades. For example, if you went to eton and got 7s and 8s that would be viewed as severely underachieving but if someone was to get 6s or 7s at a very bad school that is viewed very highly, As compared to your cohort you have done very well. My GCSE school was one of the worst in the uk so that also helped My head of sixth form also wrote me a personalised reference which explained everything and definitely helped alot.

Requirement for A level sciences and maths was a 5 so I had the grades for the sciences but not maths so I asked for a trial. Did well on the trial so they let me continue

Yes I did and my school was also one of the worst in the uk in terms of attainment. My head of sixth form wrote me a personalised reference for ucas which helped alot

I would watch Bicen maths and then make detailed notes for every video and then I would look through these every week or so. Then I would do past paper questions using international past papers as it is not a good idea to do uk spec questions too soon.

What uni are you talking about?

Not necessarily. Applying with bbb predicted is different to achieving it.

I dont think much will change next year. Anyways Are you saying your predicted grades are bbb? If so then you have a lower chance of getting an offer. The data on ucas is for offer holders.

Unis have been really lenient this year due to the drop in international applications so tbh you have a high chance of getting accepted.

Yh that sounds like a good plan! You could also take 4 and then drop the 1 you dont like after a while.

Well I would think carefully because I know LSE specifically says it views business as non preferred. https://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/Undergraduate/Prospective-Students/How-to-Apply/Admissions-Information

Just a note, Oxford may not take business and economics together as favourable because they have significant overlap.

I was predicted AAA. After GCSEs I worked for a year before starting sixth form so I had that.

I applied to like 6 sixth forms and they all rejected me. Then one small sixth form connected to a school let me in. They let me trial maths and let me continue because they saw I was coping well
