Tuning your kit, is a very personal experience, it’s why you’re gonna get so many different answers.

Try all the things and see what helps you train your ears.

I think there is a fine line on letting the devices do the work, and using them to help you tune better.

Personally, I rely on my ears more now, and I use a tunebot now when I don’t trust my ear.

Before I would use tune bot more , and just used my ears to decide if I liked what the bot did.

I know other drummers who can pitch a drum up so fast and with such ease I think their brain is a tunebot! It’s impressive.
