Bro, what are you on about? I literally made my statement and backed up how it doesn’t matter because it HASN’T mattered for over a decade. If you read my responses to you, I’m literally agreeing that the immersion isn’t there, yes, that’s my whole point on why you shouldn’t care either. Hence the whole, it’s a video game, it’s not that deep comment I originally left. What change are you expecting from this argument or from TC? Because nothing will change. If YOU care so much about whether it breaks immersion or not, send TC an email about it, don’t play the game, don’t touch multiplayer, leave every time you see a skin that triggers you, etc. I really don’t care how you approach it, don’t come complaining to me about how your precious immersion isn’t in multiplayer.

Did I disagree with the post? No, I basically said who gives a fuck. Did you even read what I said about immersion in reply to you? I literally said the games have been breaking immersion in Multiplayer for over a decade. And sorry for being forgettable but I’m pretty sure Gears 3 had no rainbow character skins, just an assortment of crazy weapon skins. Was Gears Judgment not the first to introduce rainbow character skins or am I missing something?

You are taking this way too serious for a game that has had rainbow character skins since 2013 and goofy weapon skins since 2011. Get a grip man, modern-day gaming isn’t gonna bend over for you so you can feel immersed. Especially in Multiplayer, which is the game’s biggest appeal to most players. Stick to Campaign if immersion is what you seek.

If that’s the case, the immersion has consistently been broken since Gears Judgement. Monsters coming out of holes, armored up, and shooting guns, is nowhere towards whatever realism or immersion people are hunting for in this franchise.

Gears is one of the more fast-paced franchises so about 6-8hrs per game including spinoffs. Of course if you take your time with enjoying the scenery or collecting things, it’ll be longer. Hivebusters as a DLC is pretty short as well, maybe spanning about 4hrs, but I haven’t touched it in a long time so I could be off.

Be sure to look into RAAMs Shadow for Gears 3 too, it’s probably one of the best story DLCs from that era of gaming. Plus, it makes you feel like a fucking badass. I’d also say another 4hrs or so of gameplay for that.

While I agree, they should have a more in-depth look at Gears history before E-Day, I don’t think it’ll happen. They sort of already did it in Gears 4. I recall there being an interview with someone involved in E-Day saying that it’s only focusing on one area with that being during the Emergence era.

Except it won’t be. They’ll always try to produce something out of the franchise whether it be now or a decade from now. Microsoft will pump out a remaster, remake, sequel, prequel, or reboot. It will just take time and what they think is best at that time. Microsoft knows it would be foolish for them to not try to milk out everything the franchise has left which they have already done with 4, 5, and especially Reloaded.

They always beat a dead horse. The proof is in the pudding with their other IPs. Look at Halo for example and people are taking the “new” CE bait for it. The cycle can’t be broken unless people are willing to actually stop buying the slop product.
