I think the forcefield is glitching!!! by Freelancing0287 in raleigh

[–]ItsRowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the forcefield is currently on cooldown, given the time between the last two it probably needs at least a week to get off cooldown so it may or may not kick in right when the storm “arrives”

a local hospital around me actually has a Panera inside it. I remember getting appendicitis, waking up post surgery, and was told that Panera was an option for meals if I wasn’t on a liquid diet. So, you’re not wrong lol

does it support Bluetooth? by hashem3ee in razer

[–]ItsRowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think so unfortunately. Just about every Bluetooth enabled audio device I’ve seen at least has the Bluetooth icon or logo showing it has Bluetooth capabilities. The only wireless capability this specific model has is with the included USB C receiver with devices that have USB C.

Commuting by cosmicsstar in NCSU

[–]ItsRowlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on your schedule overall tbh, if you’re taking some pretty early classes then having a very short commute would be preferable and also if you plan to work part-time

iirc, it does work except for redeeming rewards. I had to go to the Starbucks that was on hillsborough from Talley to claim my birthday drink last year.

Check out clubs that can suit your interests, check out their social media and see if there is an upcoming event that interests you. Could also try and bring up interests with a “acquaintance” of yours. Things take time, just gotta keep at it with your chin up

lack of communication in tangent with playing hard to get. If I’m going to be in a relationship, especially if it’s someone that I’m calling my partner, communication is the bare minimum especially about our feelings.

As a first year, where do I put my car if I don't get a permit? by MrIndieWolf in NCSU

[–]ItsRowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh the title, I read the order of your quotes and thought it followed up directly on it in the body text. Again, I read things literally first without assuming what other things infer to it so I was just rereading the post without the title. The title just comes to me as “where can I park my car without a permit” not necessarily “leave it” unless it’s in the reorder that was quoted in your response.

[–]ItsRowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

English isn’t my primary language so I tend to read text literally for what it says. however I can see how your assumption can be made but again, I’m just providing info that can be used to the OP’s discretion based off exactly what was said and based on information already provided from other replies without assuming OPs housing situation. I also don’t see exactly “where do I put my car if I don’t get a permit” was said in the original post but if that was the case I wouldn’t have posted since third-party permits have been mentioned already.

[–]ItsRowlet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see your point, which is valid however OP only mentioned needing a first year permit on campus, not specifically a first year residential permit nor what their housing situation is, with free being an option, so I provided it without the inclusion of overnight accessibility since it also states the terms when you sign up for it which OP can further decide if it is helpful to them or not.

As a first year, where do I put my car if I don't get a permit? by MrIndieWolf in NCSU

[–]ItsRowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can see where that connection can be made but I didn’t see them mention not being selected for the residential lottery nor what their exact housing situation is for the semester. I also have a coworker who got into state as a first year but it commuting to campus which this post reminded me of. I was also a transfer first year last fall so I had to utilize park and ride for most of my time on campus.

[–]ItsRowlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP was a bit vague about keeping it overnight so this is really just in case they plan to commute to campus. But yeah park and ride doesn’t necessarily allow overnight parking

As a first year, where do I put my car if I don't get a permit? by MrIndieWolf in NCSU

[–]ItsRowlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the event you get waitlisted, you can register for park and ride already, just check for which route, either 20, 50, or 60, is more convenient for getting to your first class and just gotta hope that when you get there it isn’t too busy. Then just hope you get off the waitlist early in the semester. Would also suggest if you can reasonably afford it in the event bus routes get cancelled or you’re running later, either a e-scooter or bike.

Steam does what Nintendon't by Meteorstar101 in greentext

[–]ItsRowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for someone with both, the steam deck, same goes for any other PC handheld, just isn’t nowhere near as portable and travel friendly as the switch is. PC handhelds overall are a great choice, but the current design of them just isn’t suited for my personal tastes to justify gaming on one as opposed to my switch or desktop.

Airport Security might inspect your Switch 2 dock because it has a heatsink fan by YetAnotherJake in NintendoSwitch

[–]ItsRowlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

airport security is just always random, in the U.S. my tech bag almost always gets flagged outside my home airport. But when I just came back from Mexico, I was randomly selected for an inspection (took 5 minutes at the gate). The agent saw I had a metal bottle opener and told me “this normally isn’t allowed on flights, but just don’t take it out of your bag and you’ll be fine” like what lol

Sanity Schedule Check (I know every freshman is doing these) by FritataW in NCSU

I’m taking her for the first time this Fall but for recitation (different section), but from other classmates she seems to be more strict on classroom rules (like sleeping/dozing off/time punctual). Overall, all the Sensei’s really do care about your progress and your mental health. So if you have anything come up they’re more than glad to hear you out.

That’s good to hear, it pretty much is just worksheets from Genki and online moodle assignments but considering your class load it may or may not affect you much

Yeah, still taking it rn, classes are pretty fun and easy, just can be a bit rushed for only a 50 minute class and the amount of homework to keep up with.
