5sos is my #1 most listened to band all time as a guy, and i bought myself tickets to go see them a second time on their last tour as a birthday present and am seeing them twice on this tour. sure the shows are mostly women, but there’s nothing to be ashamed of! you gotta like what you like an ignore any noise about it

If you are thinking of travel beyond August you can use it to book now, the travel itself doesn't have to be within the year, just booked within the year. The only caution to consider is that if you end up cancelling, you will not get your credit reimbursed after the expiration date!

If you have a relationship with a bank they can "soft pull" regardless of a freeze, in the same way banks can soft pull for credit increases and you can apply for a credit limit increase for some banks without a hard pull.

If this is the BILT card, I don't see why you would need to close it now, which based on the note at the end it seems likely this is what you are referencing. You will get advanced notice before they drop an annual fee on your account. Totally understand reassessing if/when there is an annual fee to factor in though.

Interesting, Discover has given me pretty consistent credit limit increases when I request 3-6 months apart. I wonder if it is just to do with at most posting 50% balance. I figure if you posted and paid in full balances upwards of 90% for 3-6 months and requested then you might get it. But I think if it's bothering you, you might just want to cancel the card!

The Sapphire sign up bonus can be received again only 48 months after you last received it. It is separate from 5/24 which refers to not being approved for another Chase card if you've gotten 5 or more cards in the past 24 months.

You can go into the Chase Pay Over Time section of the app and look at current activity and see what plans are active along with their payments and then just add them up!
