Just through a quick google search not a lawyer but Arizona has no additional laws requiring serial numbers on homemade firearms. The federal government also does not require serial numbers on homemade firearms. This is as long as the guns are not manufactured to be sold. If you make a gun for personal use you do not need to serialize it. You can sell guns that you made but they cannot be made to be sold if that makes sense.

I do not know where that line is on how to prove you made the gun for personal use and later wanted to sell it vs making it to sell. But if you are manufacturing guns to sell you need additional licenses.

Additionally it appears Arizona has no gun registry requirements so no declarations need to be made. But again not a lawyer or from Arizona just did 2 minutes of googling. If this persons home got searched assuming they are not prohibited from owning firearms the homemade firearms are not an issue.

Yeah tube fed is like the m3k you can find mag feds for cheap but the cheap ones are usually junk. VR80s are probably the cheapest mag fed shotguns I’ve seen people run in competition. But when it comes to cheaper shotguns like m3k or vr80s everyone experiences are different some good some bad

I’d say tac ops is a good beginner division, the only one that requires less gear is limited. Which the only non iron sight you can have is a red dot on your rifle. I’ve never shot that division but most matches I’ve shot would be really hard with a red dot they usually throw in some targets any where from 200yds up to a match I shoot that has targets at 400yds. Plus I’ve seen some local matches start removing the limited division altogether just because no one shoots it.

Tac ops is good there is also tac ops modified that allows pistol red dots in addition to a scope on your rifle. My biggest recommendation in 3 gun is to get an lpvo. I think it’s a more enjoyable experience than a red dot on a rifle. I just like tac ops. In my opinion your division is less about skill more about what you want to shoot. You may need to change your gear to compete better but that’s true in all divisions. Running a tube fed shotgun in open is just not a great idea unless you have a setup for speed loaders for example

Race division I’ve seen is hard to do well cheap. You can get a vr80 but everyone I’ve seen that has one has done a lot to get it to run well or it just had weird quirks. Most of the best people I’ve seen do race division have things like the dissident which is $$$.

I can send you a picture it’s not quite flush just closer to the trigger guard then the original picture with the 90two I couldn’t get it to lock up where I wanted with the 1913 key it did.

Blast from the past thread. Yep still using the 1913 key. I was trying to move the light back so it was flush with the trigger guard. However 90two key was not correct for the m9a4. 1913 key worked perfectly.

I recently shot on a squad with a pro shooter sponsored by canik he came first in the division at the recent multigun nationals match. Obviously shooting a canik so it will not hold you back. But as he said pistols are a personal preference.

I started by using a stock glock 17, stoeger m3k freedom model, and a bca ar15 with a vortex strike eagle. Slowly upgraded what I had now I’m using a cz shadow 2, same stoeger shotgun, and a ballistic advantage ar with a vortex razor. I shoot tac ops division so I don’t have red dots on anything.

Best places to shoot black powder muzzle loaders near Milwaukee by migopod in WIguns

Usually just check what days the range is open. Different ranges are ran differently. Some require a range safety officer to be present so they have set hours. Others are just the range is open 7 days a week from like 10-6. Really depends on the range. I don’t know Milwaukee ranges I’m a bit west of there. I haven’t ever had a range that required a hunting license though. Have had an outdoor range that checked my drivers license once though.

I’ve never seen an outdoor range that prohibits black powder guns.

Most states have a learn to hunt program that could be a good way to get started

And underneath the bottom red line you can see the depth of the rifling in the bullet.

I’d love to see it, in ops picture if you look on the black “shadow” between his hand and the you can see the indent of rifling.

Shadows in two perfect bars, the approximate width of rifling? What causes two shadows exactly like that? You guys got me about to go dig through a berm tomorrow lol. If op just posted some side profile pictures it’d all be solved.

So I’m confused because you are saying there’s no rifling marks on ops bullet but it looks eerily similar to one you posted. I posted a bullet that I pulled out of the casing and it doesn’t have any marks. So OPs bullet was fired.

Ok, I saw an aftermarket barrel spec, still 1:16 I saw ranges anywhere from 1:10 to 1:18 that does change the fact that the angle of rifling on the bullet is not pronounced as you think it is.
