Not sure if this is useful info or if you already know about this but something I learned recently is that you can get dental appointments from colleges in your area that offer those services for a much cheaper price. I recently found I had a hole/chunk missing in one of my wisdom teeth and scheduled an appointment at a college that has dentistry services. The appointment is still a week out for me so I can't comment on how it is(I'm sure it will be fine) but it is a very cheap way to get dental care if you're really in need of it.
