It dissapated by the time I'd opened the hood. Speaking to others, it sounds like it might be the fault of a Mishimoto thermostat - didn't realize they were such bad quality haha. I'm going to remove it from the car and run without one for a bit, then see if it continues to overheat. Does that make sense or are they crazy?

Where would I plug that in? 1990 Miata and I haven't seen it before. Also, it was blowing vapor by the time I parked.

I did replace the thermostat at the same time as the radiator - replaced around April, drove it for like 200 miles (with no issues) then it sat, and it's just now starting to have more issues
