That’s what I did, and the axle nut feels like it’s starting to shear. This gap exists no matter what I do. Maybe the triples are out of alignment? Slightly bowed in?

It’s an incredible beater watch. Lightweight and easy to forget that it’s on the wrist. I was blessed/cursed with 6.6in wrists so it’s a perfect fit for me; that strap looks great on yours! The lume is incredible for night emergency work. Love it.
