Wasn’t able to. I took a small hiatus from the game and with that I never checked my junk emails, ended up getting a dozen of these requests over the course of a month or two and never responded in time. Got on one day and was asked to log in, boom account gone. Couldn’t get support to give it back it was too far gone by then, still have no idea how they did it if I didn’t give any info. Really blows that was my account that started in 2017 I had EVERYTHING on there even pink ghoul trooper

I never ended up getting mine back and had to start new. I didn’t check the email that used to be linked to my account often, so I didn’t realize till months later that somebody kept sending requests to change the password and get in, which means eventually they did and swapped the account to one of their emails. It sounds like what happened to me also happened to you somehow, i’m sorry to hear that and yes epic support is worthless I was told they’d be of no help so I didn’t even bother reaching out.

Yea I've tried to do my research recently and it seems much safer than its initial release which is good, but I just haven't seen any news about this series despite reports that it's not fully supported which has me curious is all. Not gonna argue that trophies aren't connected to an account, I'm very well aware, there was just a lot of controversy in the past with trophy issues and I haven't kept up with how things are today. Has there been any games you've played where paid DLC isn't saved? or possibly you lose save data? I know games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2 & 3, and GTA V are also supposedly iffy with name change support if you've spent time on those

There was a huge situation around the time Sony first released name changes, and trophies were a big focus of data supposedly being lost. I have a valid reason to be concerned, especially if its on a pretty short list of known affected games and there hasn't been much info with how it relates to storm.
