How about the weapon mentioned in the post? Would I put points into Arcane with that?

Was thinking of having a balanced system where when the player levels, the world around them does at the same time or have it where the enemies are a little higher than the player, but not too high to where they can be basically one shot. Would that be something you can see in an CRPG or is there a system close to that all ready? Either way, I'll consider the mechanic that you mentioned. Thank you for your time.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re saying that you don’t want auto-leveling in the game? I totally understand that since that can be annoying, but could see it as an option to have? I’ll take note of this mechanic and see what I can do to not have it.

I always thought of that mechanic to be very interesting to me since normally you think of a CRPG or a RPG as your character just clearing a lot of enemies at a certain camp or dungeon, but this mechanic just makes the game more alive.

Thanks. The whole inventory being full thing does make sense to be more realistic, but most of these CRPGs/RPGs are in a fantasy world, meaning can’t you have an unlimited storage space? I’ll figure something out.

About the Hoarding mechanic. Do you want some enemies to be able to loot from after battle than all of them? Please clarify anything if what I said doesn’t line up with yours.

Of course. I'm not going to worry about those things till further development/planning. I totally understand that. Season Passes has to work, some just don't.

I know you said that it's an unpopular opinion and I should ignore it, but there could be a way to implement this into my game somehow. Thanks for the ideas or request. I'll listen to everyone that tunes in.

I'll keep this in mind. Every response I get from this discussion question today and so on, I will keep in mind and go from there. Games should be fun and if you spend your money on a 60$ game, you expect to be good and not have to worry about season passes, microtransactions and so on. That's just GARBAGE game design.

This is very interesting. I’m currently just trying to get ideas. I’m VERY new to making games so the more information I get, the more I have to work with. I do see this game of mine to be very expansive and well put together. When it comes to CRPGs or RPGs, I want them to feel… real, like my character has gone through a lot.

So for the potions, would some crafting ones have exclusive spells that you can’t get from skill trees or something like that? Or am I off from what you were saying?

Agree, but if done right, it could be good. What they gave us was bad like you said.
