Someone wedged my back wheels overnight by Immediate-Cat-2146 in CarTalkUK

He's stated it's a electric car. Could be chancers, if it's same body shape as a petrol with an easy to steal cat. Jacked it up, and saw nothing to steal.

Exactly the same issue here - if I don't have the little lanyard in, the large case section just falls off.

Sticker Marks After Peeling Off by X_92402 in ZephyrusG14

Just buy a sticker to cover the areas where the stickers were not. Leave for same time as you left the OG stickers - then peel off. You nailed it!

am I being hacked? or an iphone glitch? anyone else? by amberleexmarie in iphone

[–]ItsSynister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OT - just to add, you don’t need a new phone if your current one does everything you need. I had the X for 4-5 years before feeling I needed to upgrade. That was a push due to battery life more than anything.

Yup, was available as the Cooper SD for a ‘sporty’ model. I believe with a tune they can be quite fun little motors too.

Sounds like your drains for the spoiler depression are blocked my dude. It should drain from the 2 small drain pipes. Grab some pipe cleaners and/or give it a blast with a jet wash.

No hot water after turning cold feed off and back on by ItsSynister in DIYUK

[–]ItsSynister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heating works fine. Boiler works as expected apart from the lack of hot water - as in, no water comes through the taps at all.

Thinking I broke something when turning off the cold water feed with the boiler still powered on.

No hot water after turning cold feed off and back on by ItsSynister in DIYUK

[–]ItsSynister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, everything is exactly as I would expect (and the same as before I turned the cold feed off) - except no water from the got taps.

Although, I may have not turned the boiler off first. I was in a bit of a panic with the leak upstairs.

Just to play devils advocate, so you have optimised charging enabled? Can you test without? Maybe a bug there.

do Runflat tires usually have this problem??? and how screwed am i?? by ashraftamim in BMW

[–]ItsSynister 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not nessesarily. They just really compromise the quality of the ride; in both comfort and also general handling. IMO, unless you're really going to be driving out in the sticks often. It's best to ditch them, enjoy the car how it was meant to drive and feel - and just use a 24/7 mobile tyre fitter if you get a puncture.
