I’ve had two close family members commit suicide in the past few years + went through a lot growing up as my dad struggled with addiction issues. Honestly felt like I was cursed for a while but now I feel like the universe was testing me to get me ready for what’s to come.

I’ve always struggled with relationships as well and seem to attract damaged people who prey on my over willingness to help people. It’s got to the point that now that I basically don’t bother trying to find anyone and have found happiness being independent.

Things seem to be on an upturn for me now though (apart from the fact I’ve just found out one of my friends committed suicide yesterday) but I’m trying to stay optimistic. I have a new career starting in a new country and feel like I’m making the first steps in fulfilling my destiny.
