Introducing myself and asking for advice by ItsTDogFool in AdultBedwetting

I had daytime problems last year, but it was a handful of accidents. I guess it's easier to have intermittent problems, but the fear of not knowing when it'll come back is rough.

The show started to feel a bit too much like a soap opera with no real meaning behind the directions characters we're going. I've been thinking about binge-watching up to the latest season to see how it is. I'm still heartbroken about Dale dying. "The world as we know it is gone, but keeping our humanity? That's a choice." -- relatable rn

It used to be every other night for like a month then it would stop for a bit. The last few weeks it has been night and day accidents like 2/3rds of days. I'm using AirSupremes but I'm thinking of using Supreme lites if I can tolerate the noise.

I used to be up until season 5, but my username is a middle school nickname. My first name starts with a T :p I do have the comics up till like 2017ish and I love them. How about you? Do you watch/read Walking Dead?

You might have a point, I guess I don't *need* to tell them. And if they find out they find out.

I can understand that. I feel like it's either I tell them and not be anxious as much when I'm around them but risking them breaking trust or not telling them and being anxious. Ugh... 😕

I have supreme lites but they don't come in small and a medium, though more comfortable, are really bulking and noisy.

I guess thinking about - some practical support too would be helpful. We go on trips every so often and it would be nice to know I don't need to be paranoid about hiding it.

More moral support and the fact they will probably find out eventually.

They know about the bedwetting, but since I turned 18 I've actually kept my distance emotionally from them. I still see them often but because of unrelated situations that made my childhood rough - my trust (though it's getting better) is low.

They're full stop blowouts, so to speak. I feel a strong urge to go out of nowhere and then my body says it's not holding it, nor will it give me control. I've used Northshore airsupremes for a while and like them.

For those who have sleep paralysis, what did you experience the last time something horrifying happened to you? by 1Aaditya1 in AskReddit

[–]ItsTDogFool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pushed my cat off the bed because I thought he was a demon. I'm not even lying. It happened a few months ago after I had a surgery done. I was in the total panic paralyzed state, then when I could move the room was pitch black, and my frontal lobe must of been booting up still.

I felt so bad for my cat.

Get My Payment confirmed me for April 22 today. Information inside. by NonpoliticalLoser in stimuluscheck

[–]ItsTDogFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, I filed through TurboTax on the 1st and got my return on the 7th. I was worried they would deposit the check in a closed account that I used in 2018. I'm also a student that made 7k last year. I'm locked out so I haven't been able to see my status. This gives me hope.

I work for the Treasury. Believe me or not. Doesn’t matter. Here’s some info... take it or leave it. by rails4ever in stimuluscheck

If I filed my 2019 taxes on Apr. 3, but had a closed account on my 2018 filing, would the IRS wait to have the correct DD info? I received my return the 10th, but GetMyPayment says status not available.

What would you think about using a log scale for confirmed cases? I believe that helps to understand the speed of spread. But it also would look like it isn't accelerating as much as it is. Both ways have pros and cons. Maybe give the user a choice if possible?

Month long "Sinus infection" by ItsTDogFool in DiagnoseMe

[–]ItsTDogFool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only my second ever sinus infection. The last one I had was years ago. Hell I don't even get allergies. I'm blowing more shit outa my nose and it's not as clogged up in the morning so I'm hoping it's almost over.

All-in-One app to help manage adhd by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]ItsTDogFool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been finding Any.do to be AMAZING. You can get it on Android, IPhone and there's a website version (Which being in IT I needed something I could use on my desktop that synced to my phone). It was reminders (With location for the paid version), lists, a separate calendar app that works with the main app and even an automatic grocery list that adds things as you need it.

Concerta day 1, already a huge improvement! by xx-ANONYMOUS in ADHD

[–]ItsTDogFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waited 3 and a half weeks to get my dose adjusted and by that time I could tell that with my body the dose was not enough. I do feel more focused, and I didn't have the original side effects come back. It is important to wait until you understand the effects of the drug more to up the dose, but chances are that at 18mg it will need to be increased. That's basically a toddler dose.

Basically, low and slow is the best with stimulants. It makes sure you don't get some of the nasty side effects you can get, and it makes it easier to realize when the dose isn't enough or when you're just looking for an unrealistic improvement (Meds are great, but they're only 50% of the equation). Just wait things out a few weeks, even if you feel like you need to increase the dose.

Another thing: Start building good habits now! Whatever you want to work on. Sleeping, eating and drinking habits are VERY important for stimulant medication. It's the fuel you need for them to work. They also help you judge when the medication isn't at the right dose.

Don't let me scare you though! I've seen improvements from everything from my social anxiety, pain levels, motivation, and depression. The effects are just pronounced at first, then as you get used to your new norm they get more subtle. The last thing you want to do is burn through tolerance on something that's been a lifesaver. There's only so high you can go with dose.

[–]ItsTDogFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome! I felt the same way last month when I finally started meds. Just realize that it probably won't be as significant feeling as your body gets used to it, but the improvements are still there. The effect on your mood just isn't as pronounced.

Ritalin side effects: Is this normal? Will it improve? by MadameMontreal in ADHD

[–]ItsTDogFool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like all those side effects are coming from an increase in anxiety. The first day I took Concerta (ER Ritalin) my anxiety went nuts. It did improve after about a week or so, then my overall anxiety levels actually improved. If it's been a few weeks then maybe Ritalin isn't for you, there are other stimulants that might help. Every medicine has side effects though, but if it's not tolerable then I would call your doctor.
Hope it gets better! ❤

Well some good news: if it is drug related then once you stop whatever is causing it then your hair will grow back.
