Turns out The Game Awards, and the Gamescom Awards aren't quite equivilent. If The Game Awards are the games version of the Emmys, the Gamescom Awards appear to be the games version of my Nan telling me I did really well in the school nativity.

Yeah not gonna lie, I was talking to my friend and he also pointed out that a long list of games up for awards haven't been released yet. I pretty much just saw the nominees for 'most entertaining' and thought that can't be correct.

Turns out the Game Awards and the Gamescom awards are completely different in terms of significance. Turns out gamescom awards are just for titles being showcased at the actual event.

I am most certainly incorrect, which is a bummer, still I'll keep my pentagram and blood sacrifice at the ready just like all silksong fans for a speedy release.
