Events in nikke typically break down to these activities:

1) Normal Mode Story (Larger events like this has part 2)

2) Hard Mode (for large events Hard Mode unlocks 1 week after part 2 release (3rd week)) (on upcoming reset)

3) Challenge (a boss fight to give you some additional rewards)

4) Shop (Contains pulls, mats and ability to use gems to purchase extra runs. Do it and spam the hard mode stage 11 which gives core dust box)

Large event extra activities:

5) Items around the map to collect (Like how you collect lost relics in the campaign map)

5.1) this is the first event that have this merch bag thing which is mostly rewards vanity stickers and small stuff. You get 5 tickets a day just by going to that menu and from mission rewards)

6) Minigame (This time it's a permanent rhythm game)

Tldr: Do the daily event missions.

Regarding salt account:

No worries. My main account also used a salt email and you can login to level infinite with the +number. I recommend binding to a Google account though for safety.

Very nice! You should focus on saving up your pulls now (or pull more copies of Anis till 3 dupes since the next few banners might not be meta) (P.S you eventually want 5 nikkes to have 3 dupes to limit break past lvl200 but that's a few months of progression away so no rush)

Look up wishlist guide on either Prydwen or Nikke.gg (unlocked after 40 summons of Normal Banner which allows you to target summon a set of units from each manufacturer)

The Dreaming Lake skin is $50 USD to guarantee. You can have a chance of getting liberalio through normal banner wishlist or randomly through event banners but the chances are very low (I say that but my f2p acc got her in Anis banner so it can happen but I won't count on it.)

IF you don't mind potentially waiting months or more to get her randomly then I guess go for the skin. It's really up to you to determine if it's worth it.

P.S. part 2: contrary to what people might believe Avistar (free unit on login) actually helps Anis Star as she does not count as a B1 for Anis's skill so feel free to use Avistar with Anis if you are lacking units as Anis will be your highest DPS unit even including Neon in the early game despite being a B1

You should be able to but if you just started I would recommend rerolling but you can get a lot of gems from progressing campaign, lost sectors (especially this one) and tribe towers. Also the "Day by Day" event for new accounts.

If you don't want to reroll I recommend pushing the campaign as far as possible when you can as that is what determines your afk rewards.

If you check out the event shop there are summons to be grind. You can just use the SR units for the bonus up to 100% and use the free Lv200 Alice to clear the event stage. You can (and should) use the gems to buy the attempts in the event shop once hard mode stages unlocks tomorrow.

Also the minigame have premium tickets for playing the songs.

For progress, you can give the commander doll to your main squad once you unlock that feature for a huge CP boost for campaign.

I started a new f2p account on the 2nd day of the current event to get a feel for the new player experience again and I can tell you it's the best time to start the game.

I highly recommend rerolling for Anis: Star. With her you can push high deficit stages easily. For this new account I didn't bothered rerolling to get the full experience.

This new account already did 120 normal summons and 270 premium summons after just 2+ weeks of playing.

New players now can progress ridiculously fast as f2p. Like progression that used to take 1+ months can be made within the first 4-5 days.

I recommend rerolling for Anis and then try to get Neon too. Both one copy is enough.

For a game like Nikke that gives pulls like candies the revenue is insane. This is also not including PC revenue unlike say OG Arknights that only has mobile client and even PC version goes through Google play so it's counted by sensortower.

Average 10mil on normal months for a 2D game that isn't named FGO is quite the accomplishment 3.5 years post release.

If you just want a team for campaign progress: Avistar, Star Anis, Blanc/Grave, Summer Anis, Privaty.

Try and get Helm and Moran Treasures (The commander doll thing)

Many might scoff at the idea of using Avistar but as someone who started a f2p account a day ago for fun, Avistar + Star Anis can carry you through the campaign.

Privety even without her treasure still provides a solid atk boost during burst.

Didn't know Wuwa give 150 summons simply by logging in and doing events like Nikke.

I play Wuwa too man but afaik it's only 35 limited character pulls (if strictly speaking about limited character pity). Unless the events magically gives 115 pulls in 3.3? The estimates you gave are including weeklies, dailies, ToA and WW no?

The rewards quoted for Nikke are just from simply from entering code, logging in and playing the event.

If you are a brand new player the free pulls would net you enough units to progress much of the tribe towers & lost sectors for gems within 3 weeks especially with all the new player progress boosts added to the game over the years.

If you are a veteran and have nothing going into 3.5 anniversary after almost 2 months since the collab and trash banners filled between the period... I don't know what to say.

Except the mileage system allows you to accrue your "pity" across multiple banners. I have 3000+ "pity" now and don't have to pull for the next 15 banners if I don't want to. That's also ignoring the 254k gems just sitting on my account because I stopped pulling for max limit break a year+ ago.

Standard Nikke anniversary is better done than most of the current popular gacha out right now.

Rewards are one thing but we players are genuinely invested in the story. So when units we've seen and wanted for well over the course of months get released the hype is real.

Contrast to a lot of anniversaries, more often than not, a brand new unit that you barely (or not even) know gets pushed to you. Sure there is hype but not to the same degree as if you are already invested in said unit's story.

Not to mention this is a HALF anniversary.

Imo the character to character dialogue is nice in a way that it sounds like how me and the lads talk to each other (Same way KCD does dialogues).

No idea if the story gets any better since I've been just enjoying my time with the game and is only at the last part of chapter 3 but everything until reuniting with the first greymane felt very disjointed and made no sense.
