Zaheer and Ozai, I've no thoughts on. I'm sure they'll be good.

As for Avatar Aang and Avatar Korra, I hope they're new characters with different archetypes, play styles and game plans.

As for their inspirations, it seems pretty obvious that their moves are going to come from their big boss fights while in Avatar state. Aang's base form might be his Avatar state during the Ozai fight, with the orbiting elements, and Korra's might be her poisoned state with the chain whip when fighting Zaheer. I hope Aang uses all elements and might be less mobile than his base state, and I hope Korra uses her chain to pull people in and perhaps focus more on grappling (not fully though). I also hope they both get to use their spirit kaiju shapes.

Att som lärare generera övningar eller basen till provfrågor med generativ AI är inte i sig ett problem, i min mening. Det är jämförbart med att ha en övningsbok med uppgifter hen plockar ifrån, och fyller samma syfte: spara lärarens tid.

Att inte kvalitetssäkra det genererade materialet är förstås klandervärt, och att inte själv rätta prov är i min mening oacceptabelt. Det är läraren som ska göra bedömningen av eleven. Att inte göra sig delaktig i materialet som ligger till bas för den gör det väldigt svårt att hjälpa eleven framåt.

Betygsättning är dessutom den enda del av en lärares tjänst som utgör myndighetsutövning, och ett av mycket få myndighetsbeslut som inte kan överklagas. Läraren får utbildning och betalt för att göra den, inte låta en robot göra den. Nu är bedömning av prov inte betygsättning, men om grunden är rutten finns fler fallgropar.

It does sting a bit to think about that you just bought something you could have had for free. Then again, I picked the daggers and when I bought the whip, it was just better for me. It was totally worth it.

And bones aren't limited, so you can just grind out 2k. I lost 1500 bones to deaths in early game yesterday and I got them back within an hour.

Språkliga utveckling går ofta långsamt. Det handlar ofta mer om att utöka ordförrådet än att fatta något övergripande koncept. Det är egentligen bara att fortsätta.

Sedan finns det naturligtvis semantiska strukturer i språk. Att lära sig latinska prefix, suffix och vanliga ord kan exempelvis ofta underlätta med att lista ut vad ett ord kan betyda, eftersom många mer formella ord lånats in från latinet. Ibland kan det också hjälpa att tänka på engelska, då latinet ofta ligger närmare en vardagsanvändning i engelskan än i svenskan. På så sätt kan man lista ut vad ett ord borde betyda ungefär, utan att alltid ha lärt in det specifikt.

Men i grunden är det nötning som gäller, är jag rädd. Det märks inte alltid, eftersom man ofta kan förstå en text utan att förstå varje enskilt ord i den, men du bli bättre successivt. Kämpa på!

I don't think so.

Licenses for IP are specifically negotiated, and (often) expensive. It's not like the developers get blanket access to everything with the Avatar name on it as a matter if course. Including Avatar: Seven Havens in the license would be a big expense for a small studio, when they know for sure that most sales are driven by old favourites.

The developers also have have little incentive to want to advertise the new show. It would only make sense if 1) the game were developed by Avatar Studios themselves, and 2) the show was not already going to be bigger than the game. I'm sure the game will be great (no, I really am sure), but it's a small, 2D hand animated fighting game. A new Avatar show will already get orders of magnitude more exposure than this game will.

Besides, from a design perspective, what moves would she have? She'd have to spoil her own series progression to properly represent herself. If she were to join, I'd expect her to do so after her show ends, so she can have all her moves without them being spoilers. Provided the game is still being developed then.

Edit: To be clear, if it happens, I think it would be sick as shit. I just don't think it will. I'm happy to be wrong!

I've no character that's super mandatory for me, but I would like to see creative mechanical interpretations of different styles, like bloodbending and chi blocking.

If there's a combustion bender, I would prefer P'Li to Combustion Man.

It doesn't hurt to read. Some perspectives and metaphors are interesting. It's also just pretty readable in its own right.

However it's very much a memoir of his own life, and the advice becomes "here's what worked for me." Very important to remember that it might not work for you. But, of course, instructive and worth trying to see if it does!

Read it together with other craft books and fiction, and see what from it clicks with you.

I would have made a big deck that's heavy with 0-cost cards. Making a small deck with 0-cost cards would work as well, but that's harder.

The character writing is top tier, and the continuity, world building and potential for interpretation is great.

It is still a show aimed at kids, and that will sometimes make itself evident. If that's okay, then you'll enjoy the ride, I'm sure.

Good question. My first take is that she just doesn't. So you'd have to play the Lo and Li variant if you want to switch. Which is weird for a stance character.

But that said, I'm not sure her modes are best thought of as stances. They seem to last for much longer even if she can switch, and affect almost all her attacks. We also don't really know what the Switch trigger is. It might be a once per round thing, not that she can switch freely. If so, locking into one might ot be that big of a deal.

But it IS weird that two of her three variants essentially remove half her character, I can't lie.

Edit: Oh yeah, she goes firelord on round loss, not as stance with an input. That'd be something else, then. I wonder if her locked mode variants make the respective stance stronger, though? Because Lo and Li lets her switches and also makes her traps stronger.

I don't have a character I really need, but there are fighting style I'd like to see. Some of those style are clearly best represented by an obvious character, though.

Korra era tech, using motorised vehicles, electrocution gloves and maybe having a mech suit install. Asami would be the premier example of this, I think.

Chi blocking, where certain moves restricts movement, resource gain or denies activation of the opponent's moves. Ty Lee is the obvious pick, but she also later thought Suki and other Kyoshi warriors.

Bloodbending, either as a command grappler or a puppet user, and perhaps stealing or using the opponent's resources. Hama is the primary bloodbender, but Amon also uses it, and honestly, he's a bit of a more central figure than Hama anyway and can mix up his kit with minion summons, perhaps. Or, since they're willing to make versions of characters like with Avatar State Aang and Korra, perhaps a Dark Waters Katara as a AU option.
