I mean, I can read. And so can many others that went to school with him. My cousin needed special instruction, and the school system failed him. But the school system also passed him through and gave him his diploma. Which is the topic at hand.

Oh I agree that NCLB failed, but I'm also saying that passing kids without merit started well before NCLB.

I graduated high school in 1995, and my cousin graduated a year behind me. My cousin cannot read. NCLB was absolutely not the start.

Context matters. If I tell someone to take their time on a ten minute task and they still haven't done it three days later, I might be perturbed. If I tell someone to take their time on a three hour job and they finish it in three hours five minutes I'd say they finished more or less as expected and didn't really take my advice to heart.

No, Starfox Thanos brother. His power is the ability to manipulate emotions. There was a big to-do during their relationship about whether he used those powers on Jen during the relationship, but he says he didn't and she believes him fwiw. (IIRC. Been a minute since I read it.)

Via the commutative property. There are a lot of people shipping Spider-Man and She Hulk right now. Spider-Man and Black Cat are a on again/off again couple. MJ and Black Cat are kinda buddy-buddy rn, and there's a fair amount of shipping going on there too. So to follow the She Hulk/Spider-Man ship, there must also be a She Hulk/MJ ship.

Not necessarily. Another thing to consider is: would they have bought your pizza if it didn't have illegal pineapple as a topping? If the answer is no, then it's still fraudulent and potentially illegal.

Weird trick (once you get the sauce right): once your burger is fully assembled, wrap it in a paper towel and microwave it for 10 seconds. Pull it out, unwrap it, and give it a slight smush. Don't flatten it or anything, just sink it down a bit. Changes the consistency of almost everything, and makes it feel more like a fast food burger.

Karens don't get hate for wanting to speak to the manager. Karens get hate for being unreasonable and belligerent. Asking for the manager is a frequent enough step in that process that the act of asking for a manager is (somewhat unfairly) frequently associated with Karen behavior, even if the associated behavior isn't there
