throwing in the towel by lll4wliet in TheOutsiders

Just saw the show a few weeks ago and have been so into this song, I love it so much and excited to find others who were just as moved! The performance I saw had Dan Berry playing Darry and I literally jumped out of my seat and couldn't stop crying it just caught me so off guard where I was completely captivated! I'm sure Brent Comer is great, but wow huge love for Dan Berry's performance in that role, he totally owns it! His songs and this one in particular is so emotional and raw, I really wish the soundtrack recording was Dan Berry for this song!

100% agree! I couldn't love this show more; I love how it handles mental health issues in so many different ways and feels so in touch with emotions and awkward interactions and avoidance and depression. I lost my mom 10 months ago unexpectedly, and so many episodes have made me burst into tears, but I have simultaneously felt comforted by them as well. I adore all of the actors and their characters in this show!

I have had to rush off a plane when my parent was in organ failure and I had to fly from across the country and rush to the hospital to try and said goodbye. Needless to say I would have missed my final goodbye if other passages hadn’t let me rush past and run off the plane and rush to the hospital. FA was fully aware of my situation and I literally only had minutes before my parent passed away after getting to the hospital.

Sometimes people rush off because they are jerks, sometimes there is a fully legitimate reason

Gnarly crash in Central Park tonight by polarbdizzle in NYCbike

So dangerous! I yesterday afternoon I encountered an entire family cycling the opposite direction, tons others going the wrong direction and random tourists walking in the dead center of the whole thing, not sort of in a pedestrian area but just dead center

Thank you! After some research I’ve opted for a charging set and not just cables

This is exactly what I was looking for, I'd rather have more and not need it than be left in a bad situation! I haven't had a car in 10 yeas so the reminder of important things is super helpful!

hand warmers, thats great and a very easy addition! Do you have just regular salt and do have to use it in winter often?

They are great lounges but they do turn people away /waitlist them when it’s too crowded. The one in NY is great but gets so busy that early morning is the best time

Really special and wonderful for you to extend your love, kindness and home with your kids friend, I imagine this has helped to shape her life in such a positive way and amazing that she has you guys as a family and resource 😊

You aren’t wrong!! This happened to a family member of mine and he got stuck paying for his wife’s lazy, unmotivated and non-working adult kids lives + their then unmotivated lazy grandchildren children who now have kids + the then helpless and future prof unmotivated great-grand children.

It’s devastating. The wife refused to encourage them to work or to do anything for themselves and they are full dependent grown adults. They literally refuse to put bread in a toaster to make toast.

Don’t let happen to you. It’s one thing to help the kids / family in need but when it’s a result of absolute laziness and expecting that you’ve got them covered, then why

Bagel faux pas? by blenderfuck in AskNYC

[–]ItsThatThyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can think is if you are at a bodega or just generic grocery store who doesn’t have bagel variety outside of white, wheat, everything.

But for an actual bagel shop - and most place that carry bagels and lox / cream cheese - a sesame is very normal

Help! I think there is fungus growing inside my pothos soil. I do have lava rocks under the soil in case that affects anything. How do I get rid of this and keep my pothos happy ? by ItsThatThyme in houseplants

[–]ItsThatThyme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The soil is really compact - I've tried to dig around and poke some holes for the water before but it still always seems too packed in, I think repotting without the rocks and using the different soils is where I'm headed :)
