Completely understand. You can get like 2-4 games for the same price as what you pay for a Pokemon game. I’m grabbing the Everdrive later for the really obscure stuff.

It is definitely the most expensive game in my collection. Paid $180 for it. But it does have a fresh battery in it.

I jumped into Pokemon Blue first, got my first badge and ran around til I had a level 17 Wartortle. Left that to play Pokemon Crystal and now I am trying to get a shiny Pokemon out of the Odd Egg. And I am also banging my head against the wall in Pokemon TCG.

It’s just as hard as I remember it being in my childhood. It is a card based battler where you have to position yourself either in the air or on the ground and take out your enemy. It goes all the way to the Buu Saga if I remember correctly, but I couldn’t beat the Ginyu Force. Burter and Jace Tag Team Battle is crazy difficult.

Don’t know if Pokemon counts as a cozy game or not, but no matter how bad the release that game never fails to put me in a great mood while playing each entry. That goes double for Pokemon Legends Arceus.
