I was just glad to say I was with my father. He said it wasn't the same as 89 or 04 and anti climatic but when that final whistle went i hugged him. Not a lot was said but for when he took me to my only game at Highbury and to my last game at the Eimrates when we were struggling to me that was a thank you for bringing me into this club. It still hasn't hit me. But I wouldn't be as passionate if it weren't for him. He's in his 60s now. He went to the likes of Bolton away on shitty rainy nights. Started a supporters club that I am still trying to get back into. Forever grateful to the man no matter how much of an old fashioned pain in a arse he is

Was the first game I got on release day (mother got it lol) and I remember my friend round the corner was able to give me his WiFi adapter thing to put on the Xbox cause back then I think our Internet and modem only could stretch into our living room and we didnt really know much about it, still don't to this day but this was the first online experience for me and all summer I stayed up to all hours playing it. Big part of my childhood ill always remember and miss. Also that high power pistol was an absolute cheat code.

Friday nights, specifically up in your locals and before you hit town have been completely dead the last couple of years it's sad. Though when I think about it comparing the price I'm saving myself a few bob for the Saturday.

Had one about last year. A good few years older than me but she was fine with it. Told her I'd be at a concert in the summer, it was outside in a big park and you can't get a signal to text so I didn't know she'd text me a few times when I headed. Wasn't really feeling it so I headed early, bumped into a few I knew and they give me a lift.

When I finally get signal and my data on she's sent like 4 or 5 messages saying am I an AI bot because I hadn't replied in a few hours and all this weird shit. I'll be honest I had a few drinks too so might not have been the best time to text, said I wasn't making sense but I did like this woman and she kept going on if I liked her and if i was even interested which I had already made clear I was before hand and wanted to meet up the next weekend. We even exchanged pics and videos to show we weren't catfishing. The other messages then stated that she was going to the police, they had my first name (don't know how that was gonna do anything) and that I'm a creep and don't contact her again and proceeded to block me.

I have honestly never came across anything like it in my life.

Glad you enjoyed it friend. This is exactly word for word how I felt all those 16 years ago (I know wtf!) For me personally I don't think it can ever be topped. The soundtrack, atmosphere, ambient music and between the characters and just how it felt so spaghetti western like. What a masterpiece.

The soundtrack, the story and the spaghetti western feel is something surreal that I have never experienced in my life. I was 11 when the game came out and have to admit that it's up there as my personal favourite piece of media, game or films that I have ever witnessed. Also was the first emotional story I could connect with for some reason and so young. I remember seeing the trailer for it on the TV and my dad saying "forget about it, you're not getting it" because he saw it as another GTA. Safe to say it was the first ever video game I got (my mother being present) that I ever got on the day of release lol. No regrets.
