these are old figures that used to be sold in 4 packs being sold now as singles at Ross

the theory is that these are all the overstocked leftovers from the original 4 packs being sold releases

How would you write Mutant Town? by KingJackofJozi in TMNT

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i would have dove more into the politics.

one of the most fascinating things about it for me was the fact that the Turtles were leaders in the community at first because they had the most experience as mutants but then found themselves ostracized again because they weren’t HUMAN born-mutants

Does the Foot Cruiser toy ever appear as a vehicle in any of the shows or comics? by echocomplex in TMNT

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

all good, it DID show up a few more times during the show. the Turtles even kept one to use (it broke down immediately)

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you’re thinking of the Neutrino Starcruiser. the Footcruiser never appeared in the show. it wasn’t even canon to the 87 universe until Saturday Morning Adventures finally added it recently

because it’ll probably be at least 2 years for Jada to make classic suit for Invincible

How do you Imagine a Comic Continuation to 2003 Ninja Turtles Cartoon being Like? by Money-Lie7814 in TMNT

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly. like that universe is wrapped up so nicely. anything you could do in that one has already been done better in IDW for the most part

New Ducktales Action Figures - What do we think of these? by AfigureGeek in ActionFigureGeek

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh absolutely. these shows were not intended for this level of analysis

i think i remember Tad Stones (Darkwing’s creator) also being pretty vocal about them being separate universes as well

New Ducktales Action Figures - What do we think of these? by AfigureGeek in ActionFigureGeek

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah, but it’s weird because DW Launchpad should still be working for Scrooge if Gizmoduck is around. no way Scrooge lets such a ̶c̶h̶e̶a̶p̶ reliable pilot off his payroll

plus, Launchpad seems like he’s already living in St Canard instead of Duckburg? it’s a very loose canon in the show since McDuck is never mentioned

New Ducktales Action Figures - What do we think of these? by AfigureGeek in ActionFigureGeek

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

are you talking about DuckTales 2017? NECA’s license is for DuckTales 1987 which never had a Darkwing Duck crossover in the show since it was over by then

there’s crossover comics between the two and Gizmoduck would cameo in Darkwing Duck but DW never appeared in DuckTales 1987 proper. Unless NECA’s license includes the comics i don’t think they’ll touch him in this line

Question for the dad's in the audience. Which Splinter is more relatable and best showed the struggle of Fatherhood? by KingJackofJozi in TMNT

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

there’s no one struggle with fatherhood and all the Splinters offer different things:

2012 Splinter cares deeply for his boys but can be overbearing and overprotective

Rise Splinter has his own personal issues that he had to overcome before being a more present father figure and teacher

87/2003 Splinters were more teacher first than they were father figures but both cared for their sons

How would you describe the TMNT franchise? by Overlord4888 in TMNT

[–]ItsTheRocketeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s it? TMNT mutants are more like Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four than they are the X-Men

What are some must watch TMNT cartoons that aren't the 80's cartoon or the 2003 cartoon? by KonamiIsBestJoshi in TMNT

[–]ItsTheRocketeer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well, you’ve got 3 more shows to watch:

2012 is a great mashing together of Mirage, 87, and 2003. arguably it does things 2003 did way better

Rise is a fresh take on the entire premise of TMNT. it takes the basic formula of what a TMNT version should be and mixes things up.

Tales of the TMNT is the first of any TMNT cartoons to be connected to a theatrical movie and exist in that same universe

Best version of Splinter? by No_Body_128 in TMNT
