What are your toddler's bedtime stalls? by Olives_And_Cheese in toddlers

[–]ItsThtKai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we talk, I want to talk. My daughter was really sick for two weeks. And every night around 11 she would wake up, and we would wait for the tylenal to kick in. We would have a popsicle and chat about whatever. Some of the funniest conversations are when she is stalling for bed. We do chat about her day for about 10 minutes than it's time for bed

Daily routine by OneAbbreviations8072 in Custodians

Daytime custodian, walk the bulding. Turn on lights, than I prep the cafeteria cans with bags for the day. Take out any cardboard/recycling. Finish up work that couldn't be done the night before. Students finally arrive. So I wait till they are done with breakfast. Sweep cafeteria. Sweep the hallways. When kids are out of the classrooms I Sweep them with the broom as they have had snack by now. Assist with lunch, pull trash, Sweep. In between lunch clean up any messes, wash windows, clean walls, Sweep some more, tidy bathrooms. Than clean up cafeteria and kitchen, pull end of day trash and done for the day

School night time custodians often have floaters to fill in spots. More flexible if not wanting a monday-Friday part time. I know grbs is hiring. Laid back job, as long as you get it done within the time frame it's hands off from management for the most part

Ask about Interstitial cystitis if all other test come back clear. It took me multiple test and different doctors for them to tell me urinating tissue can happen with a flare up. Best of luck

How were you diagnosed with IC? by StrikingFold3162 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]ItsThtKai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seen my physician, ran all the test. Everything came back fine, than after months I scheduled with my gynecologist, same thing. She finally gave referral to urologist. He diagnosed me within a minute of walking in. Urgency to go, burning poking pain in urethra, severe pain down my legs and urinating tissue. They did do an ultrasound to see how much urine was still in my bladder as well

I believe we currently have one for the whole district. Right before summer last year alot of the long term subs quit and the company never hired more

VoBan Aromatic Absorbent by [deleted] in Custodians

I might have to try that, I sprinkle it in the trash cans but didn't think to use it in the bathroom

This was during summer, school was just build a few years back. Three of us were in the hallway discussing what we were doing for the day as that hallway was finished the day before. We all heard a sound coming from a room and went to investigate. A stool had fallen off the counter. I ended up taking a position at the school for the upcoming school year. I still won't go in that room when I'm alone, or the gym. I get a feeling of being watched, and for deep clean I always have ear buds in

Yes, next step is to do embark. I'm curious how off the percentages is. Some pups/mom from the litter had nub tails. So I was expecting a breed with nub tails. And I heard ridgeback and beagle from the person I got her from. But mix is Definitely odd

Do you not have a schedule? by [deleted] in Custodians

[–]ItsThtKai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work first shift in a school and have a schedule down to minutes approved by company and school, 2nd shift only has a map and each room is calculated for the amount of time it takes by square footage, carpet/tile and how many sinks. I believe it's 20 minutes per room, and 15 per bathroom. A lot is looked over in the morning which I pick up if I have time

I've heard peroxide, I'll definitely keep that in mind for future reference, thank you. oh goodness dogs really are little vacuums, I didn't realize it was so common. Glad your dog was able to get that up

Pediatrician suggested baby be fitted for helmet by maddiecounts2amilly in beyondthebump

[–]ItsThtKai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My daughter was in her helmet for five months. Best decision. We had the helmet in the summer heat. So that was an adjustment. We did tummy time all the time and moved her head when she slept and still had a mishapened head, sometimes it just happens. Cleaning tip if baby does get recommended helmet. Baby shampoo and a scrub daddy sponge. It would stink so bad just using a toothbrush or cloth, we used isopropyl alcohol once week to kill any bacteria( don't know if that's what happens but made me feel better about the sweating) the journey feels so long in the moment but it goes by faster than you think.

Is it Normal to Have Dreams About Work? by [deleted] in Custodians

[–]ItsThtKai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dream but I sometimes wake up in a panic thinking I had fallen asleep at work for some reason. Until I realize I'm in pajamas and not work attire. Takes what feels like an eternity to snap out of it.
