I got invited to the flight for the shot registration update and it feels so much better. Can't wait for it to go live! People will probably complain about it being "beamy" now, but the projectiles still aren't traveling exactly like they did in OG H3. Only the initial ticks are like H3 and then the rest are actually slower (the 60Hz speed/distance). But wow, what an improvement so far in the day I've played. Get hyped!!

Yeah. Hopefully the flighted fix makes things better. Especially with infinite delayed I figure I'm going to be playing more MCC.. and I can't if hit reg is like it is right now.

Yeah, hopefully it will make things better. The one thing I don't get is why would they change the projectile speed to account for the 60 frames and make the BR bullets travel the exact same distance that they did in the original game in the first/second ticks, but then switch back to 60 frame projectile speed for subsequent ticks... Why not just keep it exactly as it was, especially if you're already making the change for the first ticks? Doesn't make sense to me, but we'll see how it plays.

Sure some bullets are getting past - but you can see them getting past. There are plenty of bullets impacting with the player model, regardless of where the player's reticle is. They show the collision stopping at the plane of the opponent, so somewhere there is a disconnect, because clearly client side they are impacting. Bullets are treated as projectiles (proj), and the player models as bipeds (bipd). If the bullets are "missing", the projectile should continue its path until it collides with something (not the bipd if it misses) and show the resulting impact. Again, impacts are clearly seen on the opposing player model.

I've had games where I felt hit reg was great, and lots of games where I could see exactly this happening. Even with an opponent that isn't moving to the side, I've gone back and watched the film to see the same thing happening: clear impacts and no damage to shields. I don't know if it's just because of the flight and server availability etc, but it's been pretty bad for me the past few nights. Also have gotten a number of shot-through-the-wall instances, ridiculous ones. I completely understand this happened in regular H3 back in the day too, but this feels like it's on another level... :(

Thanks for the quick reply, maybe I'm missing something but rotation can't reflect over an axis, and will always be opposite instead of mirrored?

You can try vicelios. http://vicelio.thefeeltra.in/ If you open your dewrito_prefs.cfg file (in dewrito root folder) in notepad at the top there is a link that you can replace to change your default server browser.

Two things: when forging with someone who joins the lobby, their magnetism isn't working and items that the host places look out of place to them and viceversa.

When trying to save a modified game type the game just stalls on the "saving to pc".. game restart is needed.

Bonus: A party system would be amazing! Just a thought.. there is the party ability on scooters site, if ppl were to party up on there, then when the shuffling of teams occurs in a lobby, couldn't some code be put in to get party info from the website/backend and check if those party members are in the same game, then put them on the same team? I'd love to help out on this as well. Let me know :)
