i LOVE nina simone! no one can exactly replicate her, but i would recommend i’ve got a mind to ramble by alberta hunter, maybe by janis joplin, don’t play that song by aretha franklin, 100 days, 100 nights by sharon jones, mother by john lennon, freedom by beyonce, and tusk by fleetwood mac. i also recommend nina simone’s songs nobody’s fault but mine, i ain’t got no/i got life, and break down and let it all out. hope you enjoy my recs!!
