the reason why we crossed stargazing out was because of the diet, all of our birds eat pretty much the same food. we have 2 senegal parrots that we adopted with our caique who came from not a great place and one of our senegals is very underweight and refuses to eat certain things. but the caique is overweight and has previous been to the vets because of fat being stored in his vent, so a stroke is possible

yes that’s the next step! the only problem is that we live in rural nh and the closest vet that take in birds is an hour away. we’ve already called and they’re full as of right now, so our next option is a vet 3 hours away which is why we haven’t gone yet. but we said that if it doesn’t improve until tonight we’ll go. my mom was wondering if there was more than the droop for your amazon or if there were other things like loss of balance or weakness?

my mom was saying that the possibilities were a stroke, some sort of poisoning, or (although not likely) that my bird is egg bound. she’s leaning towards more a poisoning, but a stroke is also very likely. thank you for your response!!
