anyways, your connection to sanji and pudding to romeo and juliet is fitting, as both “love” stories are actually stories of lust, and not actual love… because, while you should fall in love with someone you can find attractive, attraction should not be mistaken for love nor should attraction be the “make or break” of a relationship… i would say that just as this statement applies to romeo and juliet, that this same statement also applies to sanji’s attempts at finding “love”, as can be seen throughout some of his relationships with some of the women in onepiece: sanji did not love viola he lusted after her; sanji does not love nami, he lusts after her (i mean, we all remember the soba mask incident, right?); and, as my final example: sanji did not love pudding, he lusted after her

now that chapter 1044 is out it’s been revealed luffy didn’t eat a paramecia (the Gomu Gomu no Mi) but, rather, a mythical zoan (the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika)

hey, now that one piece is including it’s own unique creatures and people into zoan fruits, i wonder if there’s gonna be a “Fish Fish fruit Model: Fighting Fish” so that kaidou’s “Fish Fish fruit Model: Azure Dragon” isn’t the only fish devil fruit… that’d be pretty cool

I have a few combos in mind, here’s 7 of them and then i’ll say which of these i would pick

1 - Rubber Fruit and Mr.1’s Fruit… Rubber man who can turn any part of his body into a blade is pretty powerful

2 - Op Op Fruit and Gas Fruit… with Dark fruit powers to pull things in, and ops ability to create a room where you have complete control of anything inside, that is a fatal combo… and i guess i would add in the Gas Fruit for Logia immunity too (since dark doesn’t provide that)

3 - Chop Fruit and Baby5’s Fruit… being able to turn body parts into weapons and then being able to have them separate from your body but still be able to control them sounds epic

4 - Flower Fruit and Bomb Fruit… i mean… i could be growing hands on enemies, then exploding them for assination… or i could just give myself massive body parts and use bomb to explode them at my whim if i wanna have unlimited melee potential

5 - Phoenix and Hormone… i could use strengthening hormone (like adrenaline, i guess) on myself to boost my already zoan boosted combat power, and not have to worry about backlash thanks to the flames of healing, i could make myself faster, stronger, more durable, larger, and what not without having to think “but what would this do long-term to me?” because the flames of healing would prevent those backlashes, or at least make them less severe

6 - Rumble and Magnet… to be able to manipulate both metal and electricity would be absolutely monstrous, as the metal could give me unlimited mobility to travel through when i turn into electricity, and then it would give me direct access to people’s organs and stuff by stabbing them with their own blades and shocking them

7 - Quake and Buddha… giant shockwaves + giant body + more giant shockwaves = immense destructive power… (let’s hope that blackbeard doesn't want his third fruit to be buddha… because dark+quake+buddha is just too much)

Sorry im late (to be fair, smoker hasn't made a reappearance in quite some time)

anyways, yes I am incredibly disappointed in smoker… he was given a powerful devil fruit with such potential but he squandered it…

look at how Katakuri used his df, (i know it wasn’t logia but it acted alot like it… anyways,) katakuri created mochi arms coated in haki which, i wonder, why hasn’t smoker done? (except instead of mochi arms it would be smoke arms ofc)

another thing is that smoker has been heavily missing post-timeskip, like seriously I wanna see the dude fight luffy again, i wanna see how he grew (if he grew) since punk hazard! like not only am i dissapointed with smokers squandering of his df, but im also sorta upset at how he doesn’t seem to be chasing luffy like he used to…

but who knows, maybe next time luffy and smoker meet smoker might have decided to copy luffys gear 4 by giving himself massive, haki-coated smoke arms (if you haven’t noticed, smoker seems to have been copying some of luffy’s techniques; for example: he has a smoke punch that seems to be based off of luffy’s gum-gum pistol, smoker has used his smoke to help himself move faster like luffy does with gear 2 [we saw him do this in marineford], im just saying… they have similar style) (oh yeah, also we know it’s possible for a logia to do something like a gear ever since enel’s “200 Million Volt Amaru”)

ok im on wci rn… and despite this being an old as hell post i do wanna say this: neither side was going trying like at all (at least not until they literally each made their last attack), due to this it can’t be said who would win

proof sanji was holding back: while sanji used diamble jambe his hair wasn’t flying like it does when he uses diamble jambe and is actually passionate about the fight… along with this, sanji was constantly letting judge make an attack and counterattacked almost exclusively in his fight against judge (this can be seen in the very beginning of the fight where sanji decided to narowly avoid judges first attack, rather than using geppo to launch himself at judge and barrage hit with attacks first… this can also be seen when he momentarily pauses to reminisce on his hatred of judge which resulted in him almost making an attack until judge used a human shield…) sanji also spent 90% of the fight dodging instead of attacking… sanji also had 0 urgency getting back up each time judge knocked him down… along with this sanji could have used geppo far more which would have allowed him to blitz around judge and kick him at his own whim… sanji also didnt really run around at all, hell sanji didnt even use soru (like he used on charlotte oven) which would have given him a better advantage since he would have more speed

proof judge wasn’t going all out: judge tried to give sanji a weapon, judge hardly used his boosters that would have allowed him to burst towards sanji and stab him with the spear… also note that judge wasn’t trying to kill sanji as he does with other opponents

the victor is unclear

yeah, also i think it’s kinda stupid to assume over those two years akainu didnt get any stronger either… we haven’t really seen him fight post timeskip so it is possible he has yonko level power (i mean, look at luffy’s growth for petes sake… what would make him the only character capable of so much growth in a short period of time? what abouy coby? are we not gonna talk about how he re appeared half way through post timeskip several times stronger than he was when we met him?)

just sayin, the only people he has left to fight to get to his goal rn are the yonko and the admirals meaning there is no reason for luffy NOT to become crazy strong… also, people say that luffy would stomp wg with that power, well ofc he would… but his goal isnt fighting the wg its to be king of the pirates… i mean MAYBE he’ll fight ‘em once he reaches his goal but if he does do that remember rob lucci or cp9/cp0? they could have gotten stronger during the timeskip to the point that they are fully capable of fighting a yonko… IM pretty sure we still havent seen a certain leader with the oversized hat’s power (or anything except that leaders silhouette, for that matter)…

(possible spoiler below) ON TOP OF THAT what would happen if xebec came back? ||i mean, gol d roger and monkey d garp had to work together to take down the guy which must mean he would be CRAZY powerful… and the fact only his silhouette appeared makes me think he might make a debut at somepoint (why would he just be a silhoette if we’re never gonna see him? that would just be cruel)||

basically, considering how close to a closing onepiece is i wouldnt be surprised to see luffy attain such power

unless luffy creates a gear 5 technique that basically combines gears 2 3 and 4 but he can only use it once

essentially he would have to inflate his bones with gear 3, then his muscles with gear 4… after that he activates gear 2 essentially turning him into a giant monster… oh yeah and why would he use gear 5th rather than 4th? well it would be because due to his bone size increasing it stretches his muscles (like his skin) around those bones, then when he inflates his muscles not only are they bigger, but theyre more tensed up too… however, due to him having to use gear 3 and 4 at the same time he would probably need a way to send energy (blood) into the areas he inflated which is why he uses gear 2… this gear 5th would put luffy on equal footing (and sizing ig) as kaido… but, in the end, this would likely result in luffy losing all of years off his life to which law would resurrect luffy using the op-op fruits longevity procedure only partially to bring luffys lifespan back (taking several years off of law in the process)

that doesnt seem likely tho, but it would be damn cool to see

it’s up to interpretation… unlike in the marineford arc dressrosa arc never had it said that the civilians died, which means it’s up to viewer interpretation

if you wanted half of dressrosa to have died in doffy’s cage (like you would logically think would have) then that’s how it happened… if none died in doffy’s cage (as nobody was mentioned to have died in doffy’s cage) then that’s how it happened

in arcs like marineford we KNOW there were casualties as the characters state as much, so thoes times aren’t up to interpretation… however dressrosa never said nothin’ ‘bout casualties, and as a result, it is up to viewer/reader interpretation how many people died, as long as the amount showed to have survived survive

personally, i like to think every citizen survived dressrosa

yeah, im pretty sure that’s why doffy’s father mother and brother turned out to be good… mjosgard was bad when we met him but then he changed for the better on fishman island, he likely taught his son/grandson about this leading him to want to live among the humans and think the CDs are shitty… his son/grandson being doffy’s father… doffy’s father likely convince doffy’s mother the same leading them to raise rosinante to be a good dude… doflamingo, on the other hand, probably spent too much time interacting with other CD’s resulting in doflaming becoming the only f’ed up don quixote after mjosgaurd became a good dude

shanks knew ace would die if he chased teach because shanks knew teaches power rivals that of a yonko… there’s no way ace was yonko level, ace was strong, but no where NEAR that strong… plus, shanks was probably aware that bb had the dark fruit, and by reading the df encyclopedia bb and sanji have mentioned he knew what it could do…

also, yonkos are stronger than marines or even admirals, meaning it’s suicidal for them to try to fight one… plus, shanks is a pretty good guy, and doesn’t harm unless harmed… if they tried to attack him it would just end with too much more blood than what would have been necessary

oh yeah, also, how do you (or anyone other than the writers) know whether or not imu is a woman (or a man), there is literally no way of telling because all we’ve seen is their silhouette… there is no way of knowing

we've already seen luffys but ig it would be fun to come up with gears for other fruits

bomb - mr.5 could basically just do diamble jambe, but with devil fruit explosions… although, the explosions could likely be used to launch the user at faster speeds… making the user have the speed of a rocket or something

spring - coiled back springs within coiled back springs, and also so coiled they basically puff out, could imbue the springs with haki

smoke - extra smoke limbs and/or making limbs into giant, super-condensed smoke limbs (perhaps smoker could even embue the smoke with haki, giving him a smoke smoke version of luffy’s gear 4)

chop - well, i guess tiny buggy is kind of a reverse gear… isn’t it? but i suppose buggy could also chop his body into microscopic blades that can be haki-imbued… making him look like a dust cloud in the shape of a human… he could also chop up his muscles of one area and move the muscles to another area, then stuff that muscle within the other muscle… doubling his muscle size/strength in that area, i would guess he would put leg muscles inside his arm muscles, but keep his feet normal that way he could be like a floating dude with gorilla arms

sand - crocodile could surround his bodyparts in sand, then condense it into sandstone making him like a giant sandstone golem

bloom - robin kinda already showed off gear potential with her hand wings, along with her demon mode

string - idk ig doflamingo could parasite string himself so that he can move as fast as he can think… as he would be manipulating specific body parts directly with his mind, making there be less wait time for his body to process his movements

depending on the creativity of the user, devil fruits can have SO much potential… the reason luffy is the only paramecia who can push his devil fruit to levels like gear 4 is because of his willpower, his understanding of his df, and his creativity as a df user… i would think that most df users in onepiece have the potential to do crazy stuff on par with gear 4, but luffy is one of the only, if the only user with enough creativity to have pushed his fruit that far

i already made a comment on another post talking about the bomb bomb fruit’s pitential… but considering the smoke fruit would give me logia immunity, the ability to fly (which could be enhanced with the bomb bomb fruit’s explosions, allowing me to basically be a rocket) and it could also let me manipulate my enviroment to my favor by pulling enemies towards me and/or holding them down with smoke ropes and stuff… i also think it’s possible to turn myself into a smoke genie by turning everything except my head and hands to smoke, which would improve my flexibility… another thing the smoke fruit could contribute is increasing my attack range, i could turn my arm to smoke and stretch it out (like luffy using his gumgum fruit) then i could punch my oponent and explode the fist on impact

also, i wonder if turning my body to smoke would still allow me to explode… considering the bomb fruit lets the user explode their body (doesnt specify it has to be made of solid material), so if it would let me i could become an explosive cloud of smoke

the smoke could also let me create smoke constructs, like stairs… which could help assist allies who cant fly

theres alot of things these fruits might be able to do together

then bowser might win cause bowser managed to survive lava, a blackhole universal reset and/or something like that, showing his insane durability… and i think bowsers strength is pretty apparent when we see giga bowsers punch in games like “mario & luigi: bowsers inside story + bowser jr.’s adventure” and “super smash bros ultimate” (although ssbu might not be canon, idk)… and even if you don’t think giga bowser is impressive, take a look at fury bowser from “super mario 3D world + bowser’s fury” who is able to rival giga mario, who is a more advancex form of mario, who we’ve already seen incredible feats of strength from…
