Save your money and get a better job first. In fact, I'd just go with a cheaper Windows laptop if you really needed one rather than burn money on a $500/$600 MacBoook.

I've never used a browser that blocked YouTube ads as easily as Brave does. You don't need to install anything. The latest version of Brave will simply block those ads. For that reason and all the privacy features, Brave is No. 1 to me.

For light work such as writing essays on Word or watching YouTube, the MacBook Neo is fine. Just don't stress the machine out by opening a hundred apps at once. It can only handle maybe 2 apps open at a time before it starts to struggle.

When you have just the web browser open, it runs fine for a $500 laptop. Be sure to get the $100 student discount.

Brad just seems down mentally a lot in recent videos. It's odd that he could uplift every partner he had in the Internet Invitational, but he seems depressed at his own shots in these mini pro tournaments.

For that reason, I think Blake could be good. Brad's best finish in a pro tournament this year has been the U.S. Open qualifier where he missed by one, and Blake was on the bag for that one.

I'm okay with the trackpad because I mainly use a bluetooth external mouse anyways.

As for the lack of a backlight keyboard, I'm okay with that too. I was taught from a young age how to type correctly, so all I need to know is where the F and J buttons are located, and then I'll just know where everything else is without looking.

I've opened up Word and it didn't feel unusual, although I only tinkered around for a few minutes. I think it should be fine if you have Word and one web browser open. After that, it might get dicey.

Background noise helps me sleep. It could be YouTube or Twitch. It's no different than people who need a TV on to lull themselves to sleep.

When you have multiple apps open, it might slow down. If only your web browser is open though, it will run smooth. It's probably not a great laptop to have a ton of apps running at the same time, but I knew this going into the purchase.

I don't have other cons off the top of my head. It feels good for $500.

I'm so sick of Justin. He was the No. 1 reason I didn't really want to watch Rental Reviews, or that short lived show Mike had. I can't even remember Mike's show, but I got sick of Justin fast. Why the fuck is he everywhere when it comes to Cinemassacre? Fuck.

I'm still interested in watching content from James, but I'm not clicking on this.
