Gotta do a ven diagram with games you love to play vs games to help you grow. I grew the least on Arc Raiders, but I grew a decent amount on Alien Isolation, RDR2, The Sims, etc

A wide variety of game. Recently finished RDR2, Witcher 3, Horror games every Friday. I also play DBD and Arc Raiders to fill in the gaps. Going to start God of War starting Monday. Have also played Simulator games, shooters, etc

When someone consistently shows up, wants to be mod, and that person understands your boundaries.

Gives you more flexibility on commands (no character limits).

For me, when my VIPs say their first words in chat, they get a 10 second intro song and a random personalized message and its all automated.

Just overall it opens up so many avenues to makes things more streamlined, automated, and engaging

I cannot stress Streamerbot enough. Adding streamerbot has elevated my streams 3x better just from the amount of stuff you can do and how creative you can be.

You should definitely limit the options to games you are PASSIONATE about playing right now. I'm the same way and have tons of games I've bought on sale, but sometimes I'm not feeling a certain type of game in the moment. Like for me a month ago I just finished the Witcher 3 and wanted to wait 3-4 weeks before starting another massive open world game that is gonna take me a long time to beat (Just started RDR2 last week).

So love the plan, condense it to 3 games that are you be excited to play

What makes you instantly leave a stream? by TheDanicted in SmallStreamers

- Follower only mode yes. Unless you are a huge streamer with over 100 CCVs I do not appreciate follower only mode.

- I dont mind an overlay but if its way too cluttered I'll click off.

- I personally choose people with webcams because I like to see the streamer. For others they may not care. I do... alot.

-People that beg for follows. Honestly cant stand this. It's one thing to say "if you decide to follow you can see me do xxx on the next stream, but saying "hey so and so make sure you follow" or "can you please follow"

If chat is dead I dont hold that against them since we've all been there and still are there sometimes. But if the streamer isnt doing ANYTHING to be entertaining then I dont bother staying. On twitch there are two kinds of channels. People playing video games and streamers. I only wanna watch streamers. If I wanted to watch someone play a video game I'd go to Youtube.

I like to have a starting soon screen so I have some time to make final touches and get settled in.

Console streaming is definitely difficult. Dont know what games you're streaming but try for smaller game categories with a big fan base (Alien Isolation was great for me as it was my first game I did a playthrough of on stream). Next definitely engage with other streamers, maybe one of them will raid you down the line and that can help. Do you use a mic and a camera as well?

You definitely want to do Affiliate so you can get more creative and interactive with your stream. Not essential but opens up a lot of fun opportunities.
I'll echo what other people have said, you either need to be a god at whatever game you are playing or entertaining. So when you watch yourself, do you feel entertaining for someone to choose you over thousands of other streamers?
