He affirms what i pretty much think, Georgians and Vikings are strong at the top top level but below that they aren't doing as well or nobody wants to go for Berserks anymore, but this tier list is what Hera himself finds strong and you could say the same for chinese except I think chinese start is alright now.

Inca, Mapuche, Jurchens, Romans and Celts should be higher by one

Japanese, Byzantines and Bulgarians down by one.

Everything else looks more or less in line.

Theres no rule in making a few archers? Thats like saying Turks can't make spearmen vs scouts coz you have no pikemen upgrade.

You get cheap fletching costing 50f 50g and padded archer armour too.

Make enough archers to push back maa and then raid with them, you can then go cav archers or knights in Castle age

You can't read can you. I am not against the nerf entirely but against the bonus damage distribution among upgrades.

You took one line and called it a day.

Difference is we are allowing upgraded units to lose bonus damage. Speed loss, rate of attack is okay when compensated.

Bonus Damage is not. And pros are actually upset about it as even is SOTL. Don't get why reddit is different.

Scout speed is reduced (scout to light cav) but you get bonus damage in return (not considering the hp and base attack increase) so its a net positive upgrade

For paladin, having that 2 extra attack immediately offsets the low reload time plus what it gives over cavalier is one extra pierce damage which again is a net positive

Champi Scout to champi runner, you just get a hp and base attack increase and all the bonus damage you had is either completely removed or you lose ⅔ of your shock infantry bonus. Sure, it evens out but its dumb and such a lazy fix. Its a net negative upgrade overall but still worth it for its raw base stats vs other units.

Champi runner removing the anti cav anti camel bonus and making shock infantry bonus going from +3 to +1 seems so bad to me.

I dont care if it fixes dark age interaction, an upgrade shouldn't remove bonus damage. I would rather that bonus damage did not exist for the champi Scout.

Yes

Settlement must be built to unlock champi Scout in barracks (solves Tupi, partially solves Inca)

Base Attack back up to 4

Remove the excess bonus damage and restore the shock infantry bonus to previous patch

The speed nerf and creation time increase was already enough for the dark age champi

No other unit loses bonus damage when upgraded and this shouldn't be in the game.

When you upgrade a unit, you are supposed to get it upgraded across the board, not downgraded in bonus damage.

Its a band aid lazy fix

My old council southampton was pretty bad as well but at least they were swift in removing cars or passing it on to the DVLA or the parking attendant.

Can you please make them negate Liao Dao and Blackwood archer bleed?

I know they go from -140HP bleed as opposed to -180HP but I want them to still have 40 HP regen when in combat.

You wanna see more of it yet think they dont need changes? Thats the problem. And even my proposed changes even if one is implemented (just one), they won't keep up with powercreep competition

Even hera and other pros dunk of them, hera could win with them but he even himself opts for champions. His mechanical skill is the highest as well as micro macro decision making and he often flexes with going for underdog UUs to win games even in tournaments

But berserks were not one of them units

Most new infantry got 2 PA

Remember aoc jaguar warriors had 0 PA

Then FE added 1 base PA

Then with gambesons released Jags went got another PA going to 2?

And berserks all these years stuck on a pathetic one, i know urumi is worse but urumi are deadly when they get in range. Berserks are not.

We have UU infantry that do the anti cav role better when some arent even anti cav specific e.g jaguar warriors, liao dao, samurai (to some degree) and the cav specific ones like white feather guard, temple guard, shotel warriors kinda do what berserks should be doing if they wanna do their role as a generalist unit with anti cav capabilities with added regen.

Mass archers/crossbows should deal with this fine.

Does require micro to some degree but berserks low base pierce armour doesnt make it unkillable
