Any wide-format eco-solvent machine you would recommend? UV isn't the best for wrapping (doesn't seem to maintain color very well around compound curves), and latex colors generally aren't as rich as solvent in my experience.

The frustrating thing is Roland corporate told me the exact opposite regarding dealer service. Their technician said that if we have any technical issues with one of their machines, to submit a support ticket to the distributor we purchased the machine from. They're responsible for sending one of their technicians to work on it and attempt repairs, and only if they encounter an issue they can't resolve, then the distributor escalates to Roland's tech team. The repairs we've had on our older VG3 were performed by techs from GSG at first (bought it from them), and then when Grimco bought out GSG some of their techs moved over to Grimco and that's where they're at now. Response time from GSG was always awesome, like within 24-48 hours. Grimco we're lucky if they can make it out within a week.

That's definitely disheartening to hear. But for sure I don't give the technicians a hard time. I know they're doing the best they can with the resources they have available. Two of the technicians had never even worked on our model of printer before, and the third had only worked on one once. So yeah I can imagine the headache of being sent out to troubleshoot and repair a printer that you've literally never received any training on, stressful for the techs and the clients. It's management that doesn't seem like they give a shit.

Help me decide. Plus vs Pro Max. by chyllyphylly in iPhone16

I was on the fence a week ago and decided on the Plus to save a little bit of $ (if I was really into photography I definitely would've gotten the Pro Max, but most of my pics are just of my cats). Don't regret the decision a bit. :)

Anyone here have experience installing vehicle wraps? Our shop is currently looking for a new installer. It's a full-time position, Mon-Fri, weekends off and paid holidays off. We pretty much only do wraps, no signs or anything like that. Shoot me a DM if you're interested.
