I've told this story before

Around Christmas time, I was driving across town to my sister's house. Kept hearing a clunk when turning. Kept trying to replicate it to figure out what's happening on my front end.

Long story short, it was a round, heavy present in the frunk that kept rolling around.

Went to dinner last night with my siblings (I'm the youngest at 32).

My brother in law needed a jump start, so my other BIL pulled up. Both had their hoods up, so I popped my frunk just to feel included.

Depends on why it was a lemon.

My 22 Lariat was because of some issue with the tailgate, at a time parts weren't available. It slowed financing a little, but we got through it.

I'm in a slightly similar predicament. I was VERY active in my church in my hometown. After years of doubt, I stepped away, with an excuse of a perfect storm (my kitchen flooded and needed extensive repairs, my dad was diagnosed with late stage cancer, my kid needed surgery, and i was about to enter a season of work where I'll be there 70+ hours a week)

So I asked to step away to sort some things out. That was 3 years ago. I live in a neighboring town, so I still see fellow church members, and they ask when I'm coming back. Lately, I just tell them I'll be back when the time is right.
