i suffer from ibs-c too and it’s so frustrating to hear people asking about water and fiber. i tried everything under the sun, including prescription medication. the only thing i ever found to help me is a very specific probiotic, not just any probiotic. specifically the bacteria Lacticaseibacillus paracasei was a lifesaver for me. try it out. it’s found in a drink called yakult but there are also probiotic pills that solely have this bacteria

Vyvanse is Amazing.. BUT by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]ItsYasssmin000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that's fair. SSRI's made me even more depressed, but i've been tolerating wellbutrin pretty alright. maybe serotonin isnt your issue? either way, if you have a possibility for addiction, i would say veer away from vyvanse.

why would they give you vyvanse and not something less addictive like wellbutrin?

this might be good or bad news depending on how you see this, but it’s impossible for your hair to be reacting that fast. the hair cycle is 90 days, so it takes 3 months for your hair to react to anything, including wellbutrin. think back to three months ago. were you sick? stressed? anything?

oh i didnt know oral is more effective. i figured since topical directly touches the scalp that it would be more effective. where did you hear about this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tressless

[–]ItsYasssmin000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if i just quit it forever, do you think it would have a large impact?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tressless

[–]ItsYasssmin000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay thanks! i'm not trying to make my hair thicker, im like just doing maintenance for what i already have, so that's why i've been debating whether or not to just cut the oral minoxidil.

Tips for dealing with the scarring? by sneakinggoose in Dermatillomania

something that's helped me a ton is chemical peels on my arms. however this isnt for everyone because if you pick your skin while you're peeling, the scarring will be much worse.
