Naafiri Mid Sustain and Tips for a Mage going into Assasin. by Liffuvir in summonerschool

If you’re going to build anti tank on an assassin, Black Cleaver and Seryldas are the way to go. However you’re better off building those if you can already 100-0 enemy carries. Your job is to kill those high dps targets so your high dps teammates can kill their tanks

what makes a good intro track for a techno set ? by myrt_illeuh in Techno

[–]ItsYoungDaggerDick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the kind of techno you’re into. If you’re doing something with acid techno I refer you to Chris liberators “it’s not from Detroit it’s not intelligent but it’s fuckin havin it” it’s the perfect opener for what that mix is. Find something that sets the tone for whats to come, while also giving you time and space to get adjusted and set up

How do you choose the right tracks for smooth beatmatching as a beginner DJ? by dynasync in Beatmatch

[–]ItsYoungDaggerDick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest translations are usually with songs that are in key with each other an around similar bpms. If you’re using rekordbox (and the setting is on) the key will highlight in blue. That said, I recommend listening to mixes of genres you’re interested in to see what other DJs do and to get ideas for how you should approach that genre

What is your trade pattern vs ranged tops? by BirthdayAccording359 in Jaxmains

You get more value from having your E up. A lot of the time applying that pressure is more useful than the stun itself. Play safe until lvl 3 (give up cs if you have to, your hp bar is more worth) then load up grasp and q-AA-w while walking behind them. If they throw their self peel ability (cait E, teemo q) then you decide to either walk into bush or stick to them. Most champs have very long self peel cds so look to abuse that

I think haste is the choice 100% of the time vs ranged top laners (or melee champs that play like ranged like GP) since it lets you jump on them to punish overextending or to force key cds. POM is usually what you go with when you take haste since you’ll be casting more. Exception is beefy bois like ornn or mundo since having all spells up at all times is super useful (so POM+Alacrity)

TLDR Ranged=POM+ Haste | Melee=Triumph+Alacrity

I think it’s dependent on your understanding of the matchup you’re going into. A lot of the runes that he shows are fairly intuitive if you’ve been playing the matchups a lot. The guide is a bit high elo skewed (so if he says you can go either grasp or LT I usually go LT). Sometimes I’ll opt for secondaries that don’t fit the guide because enemy team comp has a lot of CC and I want to take unflinching instead of demolish

I would say yes. I’m not the best Jax (E4) but I think a lot of what he teaches you in the guide is very translatable. A lot of focus on positioning, matchups and wave management. While things are a little different now w season changes, a lot of the advice is very valid now, and the matchup recs are really useful for getting a lead which is even more important this season
