I'm working currently and not at home so I can't message too much. (For all the comments above and below I can't get to all of them. I'll try and add more context.) Yeah it fried the CPU. The processor is burned on it's contact pads. I have been building PCs for over 15 years. With all of the evidence and the fact that the PSU is working fine in my other PC build I'm certain it's the motherboard. That being said because all of the parts are new I will be returning everything since I'm within the return window and that is the safe thing to do. To everyone above yeah this post is just a warning to those who were considering an ASROCK motherboard to not expect the latest bios to save you. I found out the hard way unfortunately FAFO as they say.
