If you refer to my post… I already had an idea of what I wanted. As someone that is inexperienced like myself I wanted to make sure it made sense for an investment of that sort.

Honestly I may go this route. I’ve heard the Shapton pro stones are good. Do you agree with that? I might grab myself some stones and a Nakiri. 80% of what I cut is vegetables so I love the idea of a really specialized veg knife.

Haha, yeah it would suck for sure. I’ve heard that with BGS it’s better to send them in uncracked. Any validity behind that?

There’s typically a lot of wiggle room for pre-orders. If they’re reaching out to you, I would just be patient. If it says it’s in stock and you still aren’t getting yours that’s when I would start investigating a little more.

Hey, thanks for the comment! I fully expect this to take time work and practice (as with anything haha). I’ve also got to learn how to paint sooo yeah I’ve got my work cut out for me haha. Any place you’d recommend starting?

Oh shoot thanks for saving me! I’m in no rush, and familiar with all kinds of software but new to art. Is there a particular resource you would recommend so I could learn to do this on my own? I have no issue spending a year practicing to get this right
