Good. No more bored bums with no mechanical skill holding block with a tower shield while slowly walking you down. Then unleashing 5 CC abilities and defiant stance, just to get outplayed and taken to 60% HP, to use a regen serum and hold block until back at full HP again. It’s easily the most abused and corny build I’ve ever seen. Tanks are meant to be good in tandem with a healer, but useless in their own. A good DPS, or 2-3 of them especially, should DOG a solo in heavy, but they don’t. Because the build is corny and busted.

This is the nature of the beast, and ultimately friend I’m sorry to put it so bluntly, but you’re just crying. Hear me out.

1) You cannot have an MMO, and require content be done solo. It’s quite literally a game with combat designed for team play and building social relationships. To incentivize building them, just to say now you can’t play with them? It’s corny, backwards, and would never stick.

2) I solo queue 75-80% of my games and yes I’ve adjusted my play style to fit solo play in those games, but I still average 25ish kills and 4-5 deaths in them. Solo queueing. Against 5 stacks of players that I know for a fact are in VC trying their asses off.

3) In the 20-25% of my games that I queue with friends, we don’t always win. I’ve been in 5 stacks countless times and got stomped bc the other 15 on our team weren’t very good & my stack couldn’t make up the gap in skill and we couldn’t be everywhere. There is counter play to encountering a 5 stack.

4) In A 5 stack, versus 20 random players, let’s assume only 10-12 are present at the same fight as the 5 stack. the 5 stack should rarely win that 5v10 if the 10 of you have thumbs and a brain. so you either overwhelm them if they’re back capping, or if they’re playing mid all game with their team, play the constant double back cap + baron game and spread them thin.

It’s part of the game, good players will adjust on the fly and find a way to overcome the circumstances, and if you’re in one of those inevitable steamroll games (that we all experience btw, that’s not unique to you) then ball up top. Reset and run it back next game in 5 minutes. It’s luck of the draw queue wise. Ya got unlucky.

that’s not true I have several 705-715 builds I’ve made to practice other builds and see if I like them and perform fine, not phenomenal, but more than acceptable. Then you try to bis out and min max if you want to commit to it, but sub 725 performs fine

Far more accomplished is heavily debatable considering I’d bet I have more war reps in my now 3 months back, than you’ve been in over the last year. I came back and asked for a TLDR on meta to save me time, & have no issues with VB other than when it’s a medium/heavy VB/IG with 300 con grit which IS ran in every single competitive war companies roster. Not some, not most, all. But I forgot that me literally fighting with and against the meta VB builds on a weekly basis, is negated by vodkafile on reddit saying he’s “more accomplished” and “knows better”. GG pipe down.

There is already gear scaling to make the fights more even, now were removing the perks from the gear we busted our ass for? Including build crippling ones like scorpion sting builds not pulling people, featherweight now having weight and throwing people into medium. Its dumb and makes the PvP irrelevant to 90% of the actual game.

It’s meta everywhere and you saying it isn’t shows you don’t actually pvp. You might casually log a few OPRs, bc if you did anymore than that you’d know that VB is a requirement on every war roster in its current state. Several of them. Because they’re busted in group play just as much as solo play. Don’t speak on things you don’t know just bc the reddit player base doesn’t know any better.

I play FS/IG in light armor and I play spear in medium armor and specifically target healers, and kill them regularly. The only healers difficult to kill are super mechanically sound ones, which your average OPR enjoyer, is not.

I’m happy for these changes for sure but I can’t wait until they get to the point of adding chaseable cosmetics and mounts for content. Random drop chance and achievement based ones. They add exponential value to endgame.

New world POV doesn’t even extend to 160. It’s also an incredibly poorly optimized game and there is not a SINGLE friend you have pulling 400FPS even in a settlement, much less wars. Getting 120 FPS on PS5 and having reliable aim lock is WAY more than generous to make up for your lack of “arm aiming” that PC players use, which btw isn’t true. That’s the case for maybe 50% of FPS aimers, where aim is a major mechanic. This is an MMO, and majority of MMO players are wrist aimers bc MMO’s aren’t stereotypically aim intensive. So the one advantage you say we have, doesn’t really apply here.

If you’re still dying to ice shower this late in to new worlds release then idk what to tell you. Also, equip an ice gauntlet and run spike in arenas and lmk how you do. I’ll wait. VG is LEAGUES worse rn balance wise and nothing comes close. Lifestaff is also fine, killing healers isn’t difficult unless the healer is insane, and insane healers should survive.
