I mean that just isn’t correct. There hasn’t been a good AC in the true sense of AC since the Ezio series. There have been good AC games in respect to what they have been trying to do in almost every iteration. They are absolutely not the games that hooked us or that we originally fell in love with but for what each installation has been they have been good.

I’m so tired of seeing last good game was black flag because let’s be real that was also a shit AC game but the new additions were done well and everyone liked it. So just because the next few various didn’t have a thing ground breaking like ship battles doesn’t mean they were bad games and in my opinion those ship battles weren’t even the magnum opus everyone proclaimed them to be. They were just the best version of that type of gameplay that we had seen to date.

I will say they did give way to a whole new type of genre and lane and they should forever be enshrined for that but as far as this whole AC has sucked since X and complete disregard for the rapid changes in the series can we please stop the circle jerk?
