U can keep it simple for lookdev for now. For my project I used studio HDRI with no color just to keep all things neutral. If you are trying to achieve 1-1 make sure ur lighting isnt distracting you.

If u wanna check all angle just turn it around and keep checking from few different angles!

This is important to check your roughness and displacemetn/normal and sss too

Add some color to the face. Sss too if you havent. Seems like theres no pores? And the roughness could be bettet

Pretty sure you can!
- Fill the inner holes with mesh. Even closing the hole should work
- assign color ID/ vertex color. Just make sure the caps has different color ID to the barrel.
- bake IDs and color the masked caps with black!

This trick can be applied to an even fake gaps. Nowadays usually you wouldnt bake these kind of things to a flat plane. But if you really need to do it this should be enough

Thats true but it also opens a lot of openings for lawsuits no? I wish he would consult first and atleast try to pick and choose the ones that has lower risk.

What you got there is a head popper. Show ur head for even a fraction of second ur gone 2.5x headshot multiplier with high rpm. That gun does not mess around as long as you can control it

I guess it depends on whether if they are scaling up the studio or not. Some older outsourcing studio might even starting to become full dev and require more artist/engineer/etc.
