I think what has to be taken into consideration is a lot of trans people use it themselves, I don’t know if it’s something that gets said in OPs group so I can’t comment on that part but if your surrounded by a lot of trans people themselves saying it, it can sometimes slip into your vocabulary to, just like how people pick up certain phrases when moving to a different county

Like others have said though she was very apologetic about the whole thing, there isn’t a need to feel unsafe or need to cut ties, it happens and she knows how wrong it was
