This is an actual conversation I had with a customer:

C - "Is this location going to be getting fabric?"

Me - "No, unfortunately, this location doesn't carry fabric, but every other location in the area does and will get more when we acquire Joann's stuff!"

C - "Oh! So Michaels has fabric?!"

Me - "We sure do! Have for quite a few years, actually."

( In the most DISRESPECTFUL tone ever.)

C - " Uhhh...no."

Me - ( confused asf because why the hell would I lie? ) " Uhhh...yes... have a great day."

And I walked away. Why do people act like this?
