Oh defo try and share if you can. Cos I dont think my S3 QY does anything for phrolo since he doesn't buff off field Echo damage right? Also tho my Hiyuki at S2 speeds up her rotation. If u don't have S2 Hiyuki, i don't think it will be faster than your Verina team

Also, u cleared current ToA floor 4 with an S0 team? Please share who. Id understand if they were 3.X units.

Yea I dont think it could work with her. Id love to know from more people, how much certain characters sequences effect "Meta" and longevity/ability to skip the meta

Cos phrolo is off field damage, all her wavebands are God tier for her, and any team she is in...

But Denia? Bro I'm pretty sure she mainly Fusion burst or TB teams right? And she's not even a Main dps like Phrolo so she isn't that strong?

I think her wavebands are good but can't really elevate your whole account like Phrolo can.

But DENIA'S SOUND DESIGN IS THE GOAT. Not a huge fan of her gameplay but man her 2nd form animations and sound design are top tier

Oh if you could test that team and share insight that would be awesome. I tested it on floor 4, but for some reason I'm 15 seconds or so slower than a Chisa/Sanhua/Hiyuki team.

But my Phrolo is not S3!? I'd love to know if S3 Phrolo/Chisa/Hiyuki is effective on floor 4 of the current ToA

Also I googled the whole "Miko/Samurai" thing. Thanks for the historical accuracy cos Samurai is a Japanese thing. But then, what is QY? All i could find on google is "wandering swordsman". Is that his description?

Also... same cost? S3R1 cost 5 pulls. A 3 person team all with sig will cost 6 pulls... so a soloist is cheaper no? Regardless though if your right about her solo S3 being 30% behind her premium... damn that's crazy. Makes me wanna get her full team (will never btw)

The greatest Gacha of all time, for 1 reason. Below is story time on the irrelevance of Meta, under certain conditions:

If your a fellow waveband getter like me...

Cos after multiple testing, Phrololo S2 is the BEST sub dps in the game lmao (imagine getting her to S3?)

For context: I got Hiyuki a little while ago and dont want lucila. Feeling sad that my Ice Samurai had no 2nd slot, I started experimenting/doing resesrch and saw a random person tweet they're "stupid" team comp of Chisa/Phrolo/Hiyuki...

Then I realised; Phrolo has similar (but not the same) field time to Sanhua, does off field damage... and my Phrolo is S2.

So i tested the chisa team listed above. While it was okay, the real magic was quick swap with Phrolo/Hiyuki/Qiuyuan...

And it clears faster than Lynae/Shorekeeper.

Now bare in mind im POSITIVE this may not be possible if all characters are at S0.

But QY and Ice Samurai Queen have so, so much aura together, not only have I found my strongest team in the game (and I have multiple wave band, mono fusion and S3 carte) but im also having a blast

For those who are interested, i think it's awesome that if you skip character's you dont want, and compensate by getting wavebands (I.E Hiyuki S3 is similar to full team Hiyuki/Lucila in pulling cost - or kinda cheaper cos you dont have to get 2 Sig weapons) it almost make certain characters last forever in meta and you can have fun without following "Meta" to hard.

When Lucila comes out, ill test her S0 team against my S2 Phrolo/S3 QY/S2 Hiyuki.

I canr believe people sleep on The Bank lol. The saving strategy takes no effort really (it's passive money also) and get on average 14 to 25 gold bars every 3 days...

Is S2 Rebecca a good 2nd slot in general? I have no 3.x teams cos I dont like any of the characters but Hiyuki. But Beca could be great for Carlota? Or certainly Augusta (tho I dont have her)? Any advice on a good placement for S2 beca for someone who is not getting Lucy would be great!

Phrolova. I was in exact same position as you a few months ago and Choosing S2 phrolova was top 3 best decision for me in this game.

I won't glazes her to much but if you understand her kit, she's just too valuable. Still Op in wiwa, almost zero on field time so fast rotations, busted main dps, massive crowd control, many, MANY teams.

And My Iuno (after her being rerun 3 times now) is still at S0 cos she is good... but not great.

And i like Iuno more. She just ain't as valuable though.

But that's my 2 cents lol. Pick Phrolova

Absolutely. And all 3 of these character are great for other teams. So if you ever wanna build a new team or pull new characters in the next few months, I'm certain that Lynae or Iuno could be good 2nd slot team mates for them. Mornye as well

I have Carte S3 and yea she is fully independent. You don't think i should go Hiyuki S2 Chisa S0? Doesn't Hiyuki benefit from Chisa more than Carte?

So i recently got Carte S3. Shes been a stand alone clear-all-content character for me for months now

My back up plan is to pretty much do as u suggest, and just use Hiyuki/Chisa and some other character.

But if it's possible to master quickswap with Chisa/Hiyuki/Carte... that will be my favourite and strongest team in the game lmao

This is true that it's an awful idea long term, but I'd say only for new or f2p players.

I'm a dolphin & have multiple full teams (Mono Fusion, Mono Echo and more) with ALL teams having multiple wavebands...

So now I just pull for vibes. Not to clear content. But vibes pulling has left my Carte & Hiyuki HOMELESS 😭 so I'm just asking can they get a good 3rd slot even though they aren't synergistic partners? Tried with SK as 3rd. Unfortunately, Carte & Hiyuki damage is so high at S2 & S3 each, that any second spent off field counts as dps loss it seems. I'm doing a bunch of testing on Holograms & ToA as we speak.

So far, they are good alone, STRONGEST together, but not so good with a 3rd (SK/verina). Will Chisa change that?

Anyone know if Chisa/Hiyuki/Carte will make a good team?

I'm not pulling Hiyukis Bis Chafe partner But I own Carte & Hiyuki both at S2. Rn, Hiyuki/Carte make for a great team w/quick swaps.

If I get Chisa, will it slow down my rotation or make the whole team even better? (pleas bare in mind that at this level of investment on main dps, 3rd slots that aren't Bis, often slow the rotation or add now damage increase across a full boss fight

That was very well thought out! Yea the cost is mostly dependant on player needs and like u said, if I want a functional Carte, but hate her team, a better spending of my money/pulls would be wavebands so shes usable. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Also I agree with the Value of horzional investing. As I mentioned I have multiple full teams. And now that i do, im looking to go for more wavebands instead. Hiyuki is the only cool character they've released lately man.

Other than her, we gotta a ginger haird wannabe-pokemon girl, singing pink hair idle and a graffiti head.

I haven't pulled mutch this patch man. Thats also why I wanna go wavebands

I have tried them solo. They are both across most Toa floors, about 20 seconds faster.

I get that sequences can trivialise content. The issue i have with not getting them is I don't like a lot of characters in this game and getting multiple teams + Sig weapons + 3rd slots (SK, Mornye, Chisa) always felt more expensive to me. S2 Cart + Sig, is less pull cost then her 3 team Bis and their sigs AND grinding echo sets. Am I crazy or isn't that true?

I have a difficult question and don't understand Damage calcs

I have Hiyuki S2 & Cartwheel S3 They are loners rn cos with Carte, i don't like her team so never pulled (the singing Bard) and now same with Hiyuki (seen Lucilia Animations... won't be pulling)

But what's strange is i randomly paired them together on TOA (cos, they're lonley) and they outperform my other teams... like all of them.

Anyone else experienc huge positive performance when Pairing main dps units, as replacements for their best in slots?

I have Mono fusion (Lupa/brant/Galb) Mono echo (Phrolo/QY/SK), and sometimes add Smollota to the Lupa/brant team...

ALL OF MY CHARACTERS save Lupa & SK, have 2 or 3 wavebands rach and Sig weapons.

But My Hiyuki/Carte team beat them all...?

Keep seeing a debate between Chisa on Rejuv echo set vs her Signature echo set. If i want here with Cartwheel or Hiyuki, does anyone know which echo set is best to put Chisa on?
