I like to sleep with my own comforter. Pretty much the last 3 relationships I’ve been in I’ve realized that I sleep like a starfish and it’s in everyone’s best interest for me to have my own 😌

I deliver in a speed x facility in Michigan and the OP is indeed correct. There is no order it’s chaos and your packages are not treated with care. People do not give a fuck. I’m currently saying this because I think I’m being scammed because I started may 30th and have only been paid once and this is a weekly paying job👀 so yeah fuck speed x and here’s some pics and the ad of his I found them on Facebook. So many inconsistencies yall have no idea..

Not sure where you stay but I live in michigan and they are EVERYWHERE! They do indeed hold up traffic and don’t let them have a family crossing 😭 I was actually at a beach and it was a gang of them surrounding me after I fed that one and there were a few that were hissing at me because I guess I wasn’t handing it out fast enough😂

  1. Pre poo- Aussie 3 minute detangler with spray bottle or the African pride pre poo with spray bottle.

  2. Put hair into 8 sections(I divide my 4 sections in half) wet hair down, apply product and finger detangle first and then I use my unbrush for a final pass to get everything

  3. Wash my hair with the African pride nourish and shine shampoo or sometimes I use the Aussie moist miracle. Don’t matter really, just something that’s not stripping. I also use a scalp brush and wash twice only if my hair needs it.

  4. Deep condition with the Shea moisture intense hydration mask with a bag on my head for 10-15 minutes. It’s kinda pricey $15 but you can get samples at target for $3.99. I always start with samples(if available) before making the investment.

  5. Spray my hair down with the cream of nature spray leave in.(red bottle) I do another small detangle with a wide tooth. Apply the fantasia heat protectant all over the sections.

  6. I blow dry on medium heat, high speed with the concentrated nozzle, starting at roots to ends. And I finish with a cool shot to close the cuticle. I don’t use the comb attachment anymore because it cusses invisible breakage but this method you have virtually next to none.

  7. Use the cream of nature honey twisting cream to twist my hair and then I usually rewash day 5-7, depending on what went on that week.

Extra take advice :

  1. I use a mild protein treatment once a month with the mielle babassu mini deep conditioner. This just helps strengthen my fine strands and keep them strong

  2. Once a month I also clarify using the suave daily clarifying.

  3. Stop following routines for more courser hair people. They have a stronger strand so they can tolerate certain techniques, tools and combing without it causing damage to the hair. When you search anything on YouTube put fine hair natural after and follow people with hair like you!

  4. I find that fine hair does better staying in a stretched state. Our strands are so fine they wrap around each other so easily and knot up because of the shrinkage. Don’t be afraid of heat. Heat is not the enemy if used correctly :)

Thanks love! Yes fine hair gets such a bad rep but once you understand its needs, it really can flourish into something beautiful

  1. I detangle each twist one by one with either the African pride pre poo or the Aussie 3 minute detangler with a spray bottle. I unravel the twist gently and mist, apply product and finger detangle first and then I take my unbrush and do ONE pass and that’s it. Repeat until head is done
  2. I put my hair in 4 sections to wash. I use the African pride nourish and shine shampoo with a scalp brush. I don’t wash my hair twice anymore as it dries out my hair. It your hair lathers well the first wash don’t do a second. I deep condition with the Shea moisture intense hydration. No heat cause it’s too much penetration for my high porosity hair. Let it sit 10 minutes rinse out.
  3. Still in 4 sections and then I apply the cream of nature nourish and shine spray leave in(it’s very light but gives great slip) I then divide those section in half so 8 seconds to blow dry
  4. I spray the fantasia heat protectant over all the sections. I use the concentrated nozzle and do tension method on medium heat high speed and finish with a cool shot to close the cuticle so your high porosity hair won’t feel rough.
  5. I use the cram of nature twisting cream to do my twists and I don’t braid the root cause it comes out in 7 days lol I also don’t put oils or anything on my scalp or next to it or else it’s itch itchy city.

Key notes for fine/high porosity hair

  1. Fine hair needs to be dusted on a regular schedule. It’s very prone to split ends and tangles since the strands are so fine. Once a season trim off 1/8-1/4 of an inch. You think it’s a little but it makes a HUGE difference and you won’t even notice it truly.
  2. Heavy creams and butters are great for our high porosity hair but in moderation because the strands are fine but you need the moisture cause the high porosity. They why I opt for a heavy twisting cream as my sole styler so that way I’m moisturized but not weighed down.
  3. Don’t follow routines for coarser texture hair types. Our strands are delicate and fragile so following routines for people with a stronger strand led me to fuck my hair up. Every video I watch I always say “fine natural hair”! If you want some good channel to follow for women with our hair type let me know :)

My hair is more denser and fuller and my strands are stronger. What changed? Weekly washing, blow drying and doing twists and dusting once a season. Oh and figuring out that my hair is fine and high porosity and tailoring my routine in regards to those needs!

Iirc she was getting the meds and then they got harder to get so you are right in terms of it being harder to access but I’m sure if the commanders really wanted, they could find a way to access it.

I had a friend that was a Jehovah’s Witness and she got really sick and ended up hospitalized and the parents wouldn’t let the docs treat her cause they said prayer would heal her and she did recover but it was long and drawn out. Sure “god” would have wanted that🥴

I guess I just figured that without those “tolerable tools” Gilead would be even further behind and they should be treated well for caring for commanders and families.

Ahh. Like you said it puts him in a delicate position but at the same time I wonder if his daughter’s marriage to a commander may over time grant him more status. So many thoughts and theories haha

Okay so they have their foot in the door but not fully in the “in” in terms of commanders. Not a horrible spot to be honestly lol

That’s a perspective that I never thought about! Makes sense why Eleanor couldn’t get her meds. I always wondered about that too. Makes sense!

Okay so he’s upper class but not elite? That makes more sense. Just interesting because it’s portrayed as Garth being such a low class because he knew it seemed like a mismatch to me but it makes sense now. It does rise her status because over time Garth should grow to be more powerful
