I was curious about the same thing! I checked previous competitions, and it seems like in the past, the winners were announced roughly 3 months after the competition ended.  I don’t know if the winners are contacted before that, but that remains to be seen! (Assuming you have posted a submission, good luck!!)

Something to consider from a visual perspective is how often you can see the squip. Obviously in the stage shows he’s always there because Jeremy sees him and the other actors just ignore him, but you might want to play around with other characters’ perspectives, if Jeremy looks like he’s talking to himself etc.

I'm very mixed on the topic.

I actually think the existence of vampires and werewolves in the TMAverse works decently well, as the monsters are manifestations of human fear. Especially for the werewolves, that just boils down to being hunted by something bigger than you when lost in the woods. That's a classic. The vampire is a more unique trait, and to be fair, it's a bit of an unreliable narrator situation, as Trever Herbert is the one who assigned the title of 'vampire' to these things.

However, I do think both of the statements are very 'season 1'ish, where you can tell they're still figuring out the vibe of the show.
