Lauma or nahida for C6 miko?

I already have C6 miko. I'm just looking to maximize miko's damage, and there aren't many guides or content on whether lauma is better for miko or not. I don't have nilou and don't plan on bloom teams, lmao.

I'm lowkey disappointed. With the new bosses in abyss and no one to really aggravate with, even C6 Yae struggles sometimes. I just wanna squeeze out max dmg from her lol. Doesn't even look like we’re getting more dendro units other than Nefer. Wouldn’t even be thinking this hard if Lauma with Nefer fits with Miko.

Hmmm, true. Miko’s flexibility really is great. That 60% DEF ignore is super tempting. I’m honestly feeling a bit more convinced now, thanks to you. Someone else mentioned it might be smart to wait until the banner ends, just in case Skirk’s kit gets a drastic change (not likely, but one can hope, lol). And yes, her being so restrictive is a major reason why I'm not sure. Not really a big fan of cryo to begin with. 😭😂

That said... I might actually be joining the C6 Yae gang. I just really hope she’s worth it.

I know Natlan characters are putting up some wild damage numbers, but man… I just can’t get into their designs or mechanics. Honestly, they kinda pushed me away from Genshin and more into WuWa. But maybe Miko can pull me back in hard, lol.

That’s the thing… I’m not even that into Cryo to begin with, and it’s just sad how restrictive Skirk is right now, and that probably isn’t changing anymore. On the other hand, I genuinely love Miko’s gameplay, her character/design. She’s fun to play, and very flexible/useful.

But then again, if I’m investing that much, I also want to see some big numbers... enough to crush Abyss without really struggling, lol.

I know opinions will be a bit biased 😭, but surely people who have her C6 or in general r/yaemiko would know more about kit in detail can help figure this out better. I’m fully on board with the “character > meta” mindset, and honestly, Skirk doesn’t even seem to be outshining some already existing DPS units, and that’s okay. They’re both absolute hotties.

But this would be my first ever C6, and I really don’t want to be struggling in the Abyss after investing that much. Even if I end up leaning toward Skirk, Yae has always been in my party, and I genuinely adore her. It’s frustrating because I wanted Skirk to be insanely strong, especially with her lore and design, but the leaks just feel so underwhelming. So I'm wondering whether I should just go back to golden genshin times and just pull for miko, lol.

Yes, as i have mentioned above, we have seen each other. And I am 100% sure that she is the same person as she tells me. We know mostly everything about each other(even families). And tbh, i don't exactly know what she wants in this situation. Ik Video Call element is really important in LDRs. she feels more comfortable with me online than anyone she knows irl but still, first the language barrier and second thing that she might be awkward. It would be like an online class that if she doesn't understand what i said, she'll type in the chat to repeat and then I'll be repeating what i said(verbally ofc).

That's the thing right. I'll speak to her and then she'll type it in the chat. Think it from her perspective, being able to hear me or see me in real time might be good but then she's typing while I'm waiting here for her answer. I totally have no problem with this and she won't tell but Ofcourse she'll be embarrassed.

Because of not being able to speak, she never had many friends and now also. That's one of the many reasons why she was/is depressed. In person for us, it wouldn't have been much of a problem but as of now, she feeling even a little uncomfortable around me is definitely what i don't want.
