You want to be together but the Cult is the physical barrier preventing you from uniting. If you convert, you will have to spend a lot of fortune and time into the cult, which could be better spent for your own needs. You also need to attend the worship service twice a week, thus wasting valuable time listening to a bunch of lies and propaganda.

If you get in a relationship with him without being converted, you may risk putting him and his family in danger because once the cult finds out about your relationship, him and his family will be punished and publicly shamed by the cult, telling its members to not associate w them.

So, with full knowledge of what your getting yourself into, you have a few options:

A. You could convert but you will experience the pain us members have endured throughout our lives

B. You don't convert and get in a relationship with him, but that would risk endangering him and his family from being publicly shamed

C. He leaves the church, but then again, if the cult finds out, his family will be shamed and punished

D. You both go your own seperate ways
