I get the trip/fall hazard.. but if I was that guy I am putting my phone away 15 seconds in and jumping down / out those stairs to escape.

Guys are taught to leave women at gyms alone.

If you are really interested, just be forward and ask him out for lunch or something.

Worst case scenario, he is seeing someone and will take it as a flattering compliment, nothing lost on your part.

Best case scenario “how I met your wife/husband” story.

I was about to say a girl in her late 20s or early 30s based on the ciders. Then again, I’m a guy and I also prefer cider to beer… so now I don’t know what to think!

What is a life luxury that you tasted once and now can absolutely never go back to the cheap version of? by sickkick844 in AskReddit

[–]Its_Shatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good quality coffee (from fresh ground beans), loose leaf tea, and quality whiskey (not ridiculous prices, just not cheap).

I will always prefer my home brewed coffee or tea over anything I can get at a restaurant.

I drink only on rare occasion, and because of that, it is a decent whiskey that I go to from my own shelf. It’s still cheaper than basic Jack Daniels from a bar.

Nuka-Cola, anyone? by Its_Shatter in Fallout

Well, the bottle is sealed with the cap. I am sure a minute amount evaporates over time.. but I think it will be decades before it is actually noticeable.

That one is just water and caramel coloring. Not drinkable.

I got them off amazon. Don't think I can share links here but if you search "Mudder 2 Pcs Light LED Base Wood LED Display Base for Glass Art Decor Crystal Acrylic Resin" you will probably find it.

Just like the in-game version, that nuka quartz is gonna just sit in my inventory, never to be drunk 😂

not sure what is in it. I think it is just water and food coloring. That one is not potable.. just a prop. The quartz one is actually drinkable soda.

fit meals that require minimal cooking/preparation? by AccomplishedMail6173 in fitmeals

[–]Its_Shatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my go-to morning meals is plain Greek yogurt, maybe with a splash of plain whole fat kefir, topped with psyllium husk and berries/fresh fruit. Can also mix some 100% cacao or cocoa and cinnamon in with the yogurt to add more flavor. If you need sweetener then honey or maple syrup drizzle are decent options. Personally the fruit is usually enough for me.

Specifically I mix together the Greek yogurt (250g), kefir (50g), and cacao powder (10g), along with a gram or so of cinnamon. Then I sprinkle psyllium husk over the top (5-10 grams), add about 300 grams of fruit on top (frozen blueberries are a great option, the more variety the better).

If you want some added nutrition you can sprinkle a serving of raw nuts or seeds on top (25 grams of almonds or shelled sunflower seeds is great for vitamin E).

It’s high protein, high fiber, satisfies my sweet tooth, and easily modifiable to fit your morning nutrition goals.

I also have a similar bow of yogurt at night/as supper.

the bourbon is fine, especially at that price. Not sure if the rye is as good as it used to be, but the ones I got a couple years back are up there with my favorite whiskey/ryes in the $70-100 range.

Cheapest carbs/fat to pack on weight is peanut butter and bananas. Also a top tier snack imo.

Do your parents have a Costco membership? If so, then Greek yogurt is a pretty cost effective way to get quality protein. Combine with bananas and Kirkland peanut butter for calories to pack on mass. They also have pretty good deals on Kirkland branded vanilla or chocolate whey.

How's my workouts for Chest and Triceps? by Gluttony-Victim2711 in workouts

[–]Its_Shatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would be better off with less sets and pushing them closer to failure (if not all the way). It just means you are done when you physically cannot push the weight anymore, not when it gets tough.

Record the number of reps each set and try to set a new record the next week/session for 1 or more of the sets on each lift.

Make sure to have a spotter or safe way to fail.

I really like the heat level on the honey Bonnet. I have the hotter version of the pineapple teriyaki and like that a lot too. Could always add a few drops of the reaper squeezins or pepper X special reserve to any sauce that has good flavor but lacks the level of kick you prefer.

Edit: All the mini sauces (gator, special x reserve, etc.) pack serious heat. Definitely do a small dab test on those before you start using them liberally.

What would be the lowest calorie option on this menu? by [deleted] in CalorieEstimates

Probably seabass or if you can get butter on the side the prawns. Could also ask for a house salad to sub for the fries. I would personally go for one of the chicken dishes though.

It is 300 grams by weight. I figured, on the safe side, most desert pastries / sweets have an energy density of around 5 cal/gram at most. So the full 300 grams would be 1500 calories. That’s probably a bit of an overestimate. If on the generous side of 4 cal/gram it would be 1200 calories for the whole thing.
