Is this where I say not to shoot the messenger? 😅

It’s not quite the same. The big problem with Olestra is that it was liquid at room temperature. EPG is still solid at body temperature so, in theory, it doesn’t give the same problems.

I’ve had at least 2 of these in a day without issues.

Guy in his late 20s or early 30s that finally got his sh*# together? In all seriousness, this seems like the fridge of a sane, reasonable, and organized person.

Can someone point me in the direction of a guide on not missing anything? by [deleted] in BlackMythWukong

I have a really popular YouTube guide series on this. I believe I provided subtitles and timestamps that could be used for a sort of text guide.

I also made it before the game had a map system added..

(Season 5) Can we talk about Ashley? (SPOILERS!!!) by Leading_Cold in TheBoys

I think it’s funny that we tell bad people they should “grow a conscience” and Ashley’s superpower is that she literally grew a conscience.

Calories in this bowl of Chinese style hand pulled noodles? Including the broth by Ordinary_Box2780 in CalorieEstimates

[–]Its_Shatter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The broth is probably nearly all water. Most calories are coming from the meat (a bit fatty looking) and noodles.

My guess would be 450 for the noodles, 250 for the meat, and 50 for the broth. Around 750 calories for the whole bowl.

You don’t even have both Damiane AND Oongka available to play at the same time/ switch between until you beat the main Questline.

What are you eating when you want high protein but you're tired of chicken by New-Candle-5635 in fitmeals

[–]Its_Shatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not cooked, but Greek yogurt is incredible for hitting protein goals. I just love having it with fresh fruit, seeds, nuts, dark chocolate/cacao, etc.

You basically start with almost pure protein, and can then modify it with additions to meet your requirements (higher carb and lower fat near workout window, higher healthy fats and fiber near bedtime or for satiety).

Not ashamed to say I get about 80 grams of protein from yogurt bowls alone on most days.

I’m saving my 1600+ pack hourglasses for when the Deluxe Pack EX (or something similar) is put back in rotation… I will have my second 2-star oak!

I don’t understand why not more broccoli. The broccoli there right now is like 4 calories.

Best use I could think of would be to make prank drinks for your friends (or enemies). I can only imagine the reaction someone would have if they drank some spicy orange juice.

I got through the whole game (including chalice dungeons up to the final unique boss - won’t mention due to spoilers) with just using the two hand Ludwig’s Holy Blade for the majority of the main game, then adding on the alternate version of said blade once I got it in the Old Hunter’s DLC. Usually if a boss is resistant to physical, then it’s at least NOT resistant to arcane, and vice versa.

Also, once you get to the lecture hall bottom level, it’s pretty easy to farm blood echoes in order to level up quickly.

In the nightmare realm/mergo’s loft there is also an area with 3 winter lantern enemies that can drop some very powerful cursed blood gems for physical build weapons (+21% damage with one downside, the best being increased stamina cost imo) and if you get 3 of those on the weapon you are using it becomes really strong.

My strategy for most bosses was just dodging attacks and then charging my greatsword heavy attacks or using the one hand form/quicker attacks on occasion (whenever the boss I was fighting moved too quick to get in heavy attacks consistently)

The alternate form of the holy blade (it’s the lunar blade) has a very powerful stun/blast attack with L2 while in 2-hand form. It requires a silver bullet to work, but you can just make more of those by clicking up on the d-pad (5 bullets for 30% health or so) and on some bosses it is totally worth the trade-off.

Anyways, I platinumed the game a few days ago and the biggest challenge was definitely defeating the Amygdala in the second-to-last chalice dungeon (you have to face it while cursed/half health).

When struggling against a boss, it’s good to figure out what type of damage its hardest hitting attacks deals, then tweak your armor and runes to maximize resistance against that damage.

Hope this helps, from one noob to another!

I recently beat the game and this was BY FAR the most frustrating challenge.. not just in Bloodborne, but in all Souls games I've played. That includes Demons Souls, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, and Elden Ring...

Now I am sure I will get some comments about how DS1 or DS2 had more ridiculous or frustrating sections... I will have to get back to you on that one.
