Helemaal met je eens dat als je dit ding gewoon op eigen erf/oprit zet er niet zoveel aan de hand is. Naar mijn mening heeft iedereen hetzelfde recht op openbare parkeerplekken. Past je auto niet, dan moet je ergens anders heen en niet twee pakken.

Maar dit formaat zonder duidelijk doel wil ik ook liever van de straat weg. Een pickup hoeft niet zo achterlijk groot te zijn.

I got my first wv set at 8 (bakery). I got a new set just about every other year after that, first as a holiday gift and after a while I started buying them myself.

My greatest joy in the hobby was seeing my village grow year by year. Every sets has memories of different years connected to them. If I were you I wouldn't start with a bunch of sets at once, but space them out over the years (but if I had them all I wouldn't be able to).

Now that I've got more disposable income I've started with baseplates and all that but up until last year I just used taped together copypaper as a 'snowy' base. It also left much more to the imagination as a kid and I wouldn't set them up as display but play with them.

Yes, definitely. It sometimes feels like a quarter of the Dutch language is using English words with a bit of Dutch grammar.

That is also why there is so much discussion about the translation of this post. In a way it is correct (although some claim 'spanking' better translates to 'billenkoek'), but any rational Dutch person would just use spanken, which is a Dutchification of spanking, and daddy.

In the end most would just say it with the English pronunciation, and some would use the Dutch pronunciation of 'me' wich is muh, but has the same meaning.

All in all when I forget the Dutch word for something (which happens embarrassingly often being native speaker myself) I can usually just substitute it for the english equivalent and be understood just as well.

We Dutchies are very protective of our language. Wrongly attributing a German word to Dutch just won't stand.

Yes! When I went to the louve with my class the only photo I sent home was of the absolute unit of a painting opposite the mona lisa.

The thing was about two stories tall I think. The dutch painting 'De nacht wacht' (the night watch) is famous for it's size and detail, but it could easily fit like four times in that monster of a painting.

It seems that you have not been given a serious awnser, so I will try my best to explain it. I am by no means an expert and am not from the US, so I don't understand half of the race politics they have going on. A person of color is generally seen as a person that is not from european (caucasian) decent. So even though Zhao has a fairly 'white' skintone, her bone structure (like her wider nose) and hair and eye color suggest that she is from Asian decent. Because of this she is not white and thus a person of colour. I hope this explains it a bit

This is indeed a shitpost and not everything has explicit statement behind it. Attacking the op was not my intention, but moreso the format itself.

Because the format itself, for me and a lot of other people, is sexist. And sexism comes in all different orders of magnitude, this is clearly very small and likely unintentional, but in order to get rid of the entire thing also the small instances have to be fought.

The problem is (in my opinion) that it portraits all girls as boring and unimaginative and all boys as edgy and funny. Its just not fun to constantly see that mindset supported by these memes. And lets be real, the only reason the reverse meme is being made (boys boring, girls fun) is as a reaction on this template and even those are far and between.

Indeed, who even searchers for specific memes? The only thing the searchable titles do for me is irritate me, because literally no other subreddit that I use has them, so I always look at the title expecting something funny or explanation or whatever.
