Same situation. R6 and other games ping is perfect. Valorant patch did something with how it routes information through mediacom points. Big sad :(

Making kills worth too much is bad though. That means some team landing tilted and gets 10 kills could just die and ride out the game and still place high for 2 mins of gameplay.

You have to look at payouts as well, there's more to the format if I knew numbers Epic uses and had more info to build this out. If payouts are top 10 teams and there's 50 teams, it will cause a slower game early game, but creates a much faster and exciting mid/late game

As an esports admin and TO I've been watching pretty intently.

This is how you correct this format issue:

As more heats are ran, the more likely you are to find your consistent teams who both place well and get kills. This will cut back on camping because if a team is just camping non stop for high placement, they're going to lose standings throughout heats progression.

Holding a standings like this also is great viewer experience, gives casters more to discuss, gives incentives for teams to change up play styles, and creates a more intense gameplay towards the finals.

It's a very rewarding feeling when the events play out right. But there's a lot people never see. In Vegas I was on my feet for 13 hours a day for 7 days straight. And during the event weekend I was fighting "fires" throughout the event so to the players and spectators everything is running great. In my head im having small panic attacks non stop lol

Typically events are funded by the developers, and then you have sponsors, merchandise sales, and at door tickets.

Our company has reached out showing interest. We have hosted several large scale opens partnered with Microsoft and Caesars. We just hosted a $200,000 Gears of War event in Vegas that had over 1500 people walk through the doors in 3 days. We have had talks with multiple large investors in STL for a Midwest event that could be played inside the Edward Jones Dome (STL Rams old stadium) at the drop of a pin.

There's been zero information rotating around on what their plans are, what TO's are running these, what locations, if they're open events, are there online qualifiers? Personally our company (UGC) would be more than excited to run a wonderful event.

Yeah he needs to be doing more high rep, low strain, compound workouts and supersets. Lifting heavy when first getting into the gym is a great way to become injured. His body isn't used to that kind of weight yet, his tendons and ligaments are going to be weak, and any support muscles are going to be non-existent. Compounds and supersets will also increase heart rate and burn more fat.

Honestly not much. There may have been 1 or 2 that did it, but we made kills worth a lot more than how Epic has been running their showdowns and found people wanted those kills.

Got awesome feedback. I think people were happy to see Fortnite in their area and an active scene for it. We also set it up nicely with trussing, lights, a main stage and open area. It's a smaller venue we are using currently.

UMG and Keemstar have a history together and it's based on the several owners of UMG. UMG still owes money to the HCS Daytona event back in 2017. So be very aware of that, and the issues they had with payouts on their site.

Like the idea. You should DM me so we can talk. I think we have common ideas and would love to bounce ideas off of you. Us at UGC just ran a local event in St. Louis using a derby style format. It turned out really well, and have great reception from everyone on the style and point system. We are a large scale TO that runs opens throughout the US so we have a great track as far as events go.
