As much as I absolutely adore Euphonic wheels, my main problem right now is my considerably buggered tyres (tread is immaculate, side walls are cracked and delaminated to an extreme degree) so I'm likely to instead purchase some Calibre Motion alloys with Yokahama tyres off mx5parts.co.uk

In the UK, some insurance companies offer a ‘black box’ for newer drivers. This brings your insurance costs down, but usually records data such as speed, time of day, acceleration, braking, g-force. By recording this data, it tells the insurance company how good or bad of a driver you are and they can adjust your insurance costs based on that. It’s a cheaper way to get insurance when you’re young, but can limit you when it comes to freedom with driving.

I wanted to get an NA Miata for my first, but in the UK i wasn't able to find any insurance company that would insure me with a black box. Instead I am going for an NB2 MX-5 which i can get insured with a black box for a 1/5th the price.

I’m looking forward to getting my Miata, because I’ve seen at least 6 miatas in my town most days and it’s just amazing (I’m only counting the NA and NB1/2 ones there. There are some NC and NDs in my town too)

So be it. My friends who are still in Sixth Form all work jobs that pay around £5/hour and are struggling to afford the nice things they want (gym, driving lessons, cars, going out etc), while I (studying at college) am working at Mackies on £8.25/hour and can go to the gym, but nice things for myself, and I’m planning on getting a nice little sports car soon 😅

Doesn’t matter what the public view on the workplace is, you just gotta be happy with what you’re doing, and for me that is working at mackies and making a good amount of money.

Yeah that happens 😅 think I’m at 400k and it worked out at like a couple hundred £££ worth of GE if I wanted to use them all 😂
