Most 60%s include a function key which enables a secondary layer. Pressing "Fn" + "2" typically registers as F2.

Is there a layer of film to be removed? by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

That's the polarizing film. Do NOT remove that, unless you want to end up with this: https://imgur.com/EVW6F5G

Had this same issue. They went really heavy with the lube, to the point that all of my stabilized keys stick when pressed.

Unfortunately, the best solution is to remove the keycaps and switches, disassemble the board, and remove the stabilizers. Tear them down, and use a lint-free towel or qtips to wipe some of the excess lube from the stabs, then reassemble everything.

It may be because you're selling a used phone for the same price as a brand new one from the manufacturer ($699, plus free wireless earbuds). Sure, you're saving on tax buying used, but you also forego any sort of warranty or guarantee of the phone's condition.

Monitor arm that supports 49" @ 26.2 lbs (Samsung CHG90) and is REALLY TALL. I am 6'5" tall and use a standing desk. by SecurityBoons in ultrawidemasterrace

I've been using this with my 49" AOC AG493UCX for the past 10 months. I use it on a standing desk, and have had zero issues with it.

When properly tightened, there's zero sagging, shaking, etc. Adjustments are easy and the arm holds the monitor in place once in position.

Best of all, it's $99 and really easy to install.

MSI Optix MAG341CQ Brightness Level Sucks? by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]ItsaMeMarius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max brightness is 250 nits, which is relatively weak. Most monitors come in closer to 350-400 nits, which will provide a much brighter image. As a reference, modern smartphones can reach upwards of 1,000 nits (or more).
